Traffic within the city of Orlando was negatively affected after a collision occurred along the Interstate 4 corridor on Tuesday, May 26th. Currently, not much information about the rollover accident itself is available as we await updates from the authorities regarding the incident and its aftermath. What we do know comes from reports issued by several emergency response agencies working within Orlando, agencies such as the Florida Highway Patrol and the Orlando Police Department, who responded to the incident in question. According to the reports from these groups, the incident took place during the morning, sometime before 7:30 a.m.
Crash in Marion County Results in Car Fire, Fatality, and Hospitalization
A single-car crash that took place within Marion County resulted in the death of an individual and the critical injury of another. Reports on the accident come from the Florida Highway Patrol, members of which were at the scene shortly after the incident in question took place. According to these reports, the incident took place late on the night of Saturday, May 23rd, while people throughout the area were in the middle of their Memorial Day weekend celebration.
Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing into Parked Car in Ormond Beach
Officers with the Ormond Beach Police Department are among those investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle that took place within the city on the afternoon of Saturday, May 23rd. The reports that we currently possess come from this department and indicate that the accident involved only two vehicles. One of these vehicles was the above-mentioned motorcycle. The second was a parked car that was sitting in the lot of the Piranha Grille, a popular restaurant for tourists located within the area.
Arrest Made in Pinellas Park Hit-and-Run
A bicycle accident that took place in Pinellas Park during the beginning of a weekend in May initially resulted in a manhunt for an individual believed to have fled from the scene of a collision resulting in serious injuries. The reports from the Pinellas Park Police Department indicate that the initial accident happened sometime around 9:00 at night on Friday, May 15th, as a 60-year-old man was trying to walk across U.S. 19.
Fatal Crash Between SUV and Motorcycle in Seminole County
On Thursday, May 21st, an accident occurred in Seminole County that resulted in the death of a single individual. The accident happened in the mid-morning and involved two vehicles: an SUV and a motorcycle. As is usually the case in collisions that occur between a motorcycle and a larger vehicle, the motorcyclist was the one to suffer the most from the impact.
Serious Injury for Driver of SUV Following Sumter County Crash
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol in Sumter County indicated that an individual was reported as being in serious condition following a collision between an SUV and a tractor-trailer, both of which were traveling down Interstate 75 at the time. The accident happened on Monday, May 11th, close to 9:00 in the morning, as both of the vehicles in question were nearing mile marker 331.

Collision Between Pickup and Sedan in Ocala Results in Serious Injury
A two-car collision within the City of Ocala resulted in the serious injury of at least one person during the early afternoon of Thursday, May 21st. We believe the collision took place at the intersection of West Silver Springs Boulevard and North Pine Avenue, sometime after 12:30 p.m. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, one of them a pickup truck. The other car was described as being a sedan.
Child Inside Car During DUI Crash in Davenport
Deputies within Polk County are investigating a drunk driver accident that took place on the morning of Tuesday, the 12th of May. The incident took place sometime before 10:00 a.m. and involved a single vehicle. Behind the wheel of this vehicle was a 37-year-old individual. In the car with her was a 4-year-old child. At the time of this writing, the driver is facing DUI charges, among other things.
Tampa Police Search for Person Behind Fatal Early May Hit-and-Run
A fatal hit-and-run accident in the Tampa area is currently under investigation by officers with the Tampa Police Department. Reports issued at the time of this writing provide limited, although crucial, information regarding the incident. It is anticipated that as the investigation into the accident continues additional updates will be offered.
