A 32-year-old woman is facing several serious charges this week for her alleged connection to a severe hit-and-run accident that injured multiple people, including two small children, last Friday evening along U.S. Highway 27 in Polk County.
Child Inside Car During DUI Crash in Davenport
Deputies within Polk County are investigating a drunk driver accident that took place on the morning of Tuesday, the 12th of May. The incident took place sometime before 10:00 a.m. and involved a single vehicle. Behind the wheel of this vehicle was a 37-year-old individual. In the car with her was a 4-year-old child. At the time of this writing, the driver is facing DUI charges, among other things.
