One Dead, Two Hospitalized After Two Car Crash in Orlando

Officers with the Orlando Police Department are in the process of finishing up an investigation into a two-car collision that took place on Tuesday, May 12th, within the City of Orlando and resulted in the death of a 73-year-old woman. According to their reports on the event, the accident took place after police began to pursue two individuals believed to be connected with a homicide that was under investigation. The car connected with the homicide was identified by a license plate reader somewhere in Orlando on Monday night, and then the car itself was spotted by an officer with the Orlando Police Department on Tuesday morning, prompting police to begin to follow the vehicle.

Rear-End Crash with Gas Tanker Kills One in Orlando

A major crash involving a gas tanker in Orlando resulted in the death of a single individual on the morning of Thursday, May 14th. Reports concerning the incident first appeared via the Orlando Police Department and indicated that the crash had taken place close to 5:30 a.m. At the time of this writing, the incident remains under investigation and authorities have yet to indicate just what they believe caused the crash and whether or not they are holding any specific individual accountable for the incident.

Morning Crash in Hillsborough City Injures Four Civilians, Two Deputies

It was sometime during the early morning in mid-May that an incident took place within Hillsborough County, close to Tampa, that resulted in the injury of six people, two of whom are deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Reports from the HCSO suggest that the auto accident took place shortly before 2:00 in the morning on Sunday, May 10th, and that there were two vehicles involved. One of these vehicles, a cruiser with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, was parked along the median of Highway 60, close to the intersection with Church Street. The officers within this vehicle were on DUI patrol, keeping a close eye on all cars passing through the area to ensure compliance with Florida’s policy regarding driving while intoxicated.

Fatal Single Car Crash in Tampa

A morning crash on Friday, May 8th, within the City of Tampa remains under investigation while members of the Florida Highway Patrol work to uncover the reasons behind the single-vehicle accident. Much of the information relating to the incident remains unknown and pending the results of the investigation, however the Florida Highway Patrol did release some preliminary findings relating to the accident. These include the information that the driver of the car in question was a 21-year-old who was traveling in their vehicle down Interstate 4, close to the exit off of I-4 to U.S. 301 at around 9:00 on the morning in question.

Two Skydivers Injured After Parachute Malfunction in Titusville

Two skydiving enthusiasts were rushed to an area hospital in Titusville after a malfunction with two parachutes led to a less than ideal landing inside of a residential neighborhood. Reports relating to the incident began to emerge from emergency response crews working within Brevard County shortly after the incident itself took place. We know from these reports that it was sometime after 10:00 when the skydivers jumped from their plane and began to plummet to the ground.
