Since 1977, personal injury attorney James Cunningham has dedicated his professional life to helping accident victims and their families receive justice and fair compensation. Mr. Cunningham is a 1977 graduate of the Florida State University College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1977.

Jim has again been selected for recognition in 2021 Florida Super Lawyers. This selection is the result of an extensive process of balloting, blue ribbon panel review, and independent research. Only five percent of Florida attorneys have been selected for 2021 Florida Super Lawyers. In addition, Mr. Cunningham is recognized as one of the Leading Plaintiff Lawyers in America for 2015, as published by Law Dragon 3000. This is a select group of attorneys representing less than one half of one percent of the nation's legal profession. In 2015, Jim became a Charter Fellow of the American College of Board Certified Attorneys as well.

Since 1987, Jim has been listed among the Bar Register of Preeminent Personal Injury Lawyers, as published by Martindale-Hubbell, the nation's oldest and most respected source of authoritative independent information about members of the legal community. In 2023 was named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. According to Martindale-Hubbell, "this rating is a significant accomplishment - a sign that a lawyer is considered by his or her peers to be at the highest levels of professional excellence."

Jim holds a seminary degree from Reformed Theological Seminary, served on the board of directors of Man in the Mirror Ministries for six years and regularly speaks at local churches.
