According to this law enforcement organization, the incident began sometime during Tuesday, May 5th. FHP Investigates Single-Vehicle Crash and Fatality in Lake County

Members of the Florida Highway Patrol within Lake County are currently working to discover what caused a motorcyclist to crash on the night of Monday, May 4th, an incident that resulted in the biker sustaining fatal injuries. According to the preliminary reports around the issue, the accident is believed to have taken place sometime after 6:40 in the morning. The location of the incident is confirmed as being along County Road 445, close to the intersection of this road and State Road 19, just south of Camp Ocala.

UPDATE: Speed Limit Reduced Along S.R. A1A After Child’s Death

After a tremendous amount of energy and effort was expended by a community located within Indian Harbor Beach, lawmakers have finally agreed to lower the speed limit along a stretch of State Road A1A as well as install additional warning signs and flashers on the road in order to provide extra safety for pedestrians in the area. The move follows a coordinated effort put forward by the community around a family who lost their 12-year-old daughter in a fatal pedestrian accident after she was struck by a car and killed while attempting to cross the road.

Car Crashes into Lauderdale Lakes Dominos, Driver Dies in Hospital

A violent crash resulted in a single fatality in Lauderdale Lakes during the last days of April, leaving members of the Broward Sheriff’s Office in the middle of an investigation into just what happened to cause the incident in the first place. Reports from the Broward Sheriff’s Office indicated that the event began sometime during the night of Wednesday, April 29th. At the time of this writing, it is not believed that anyone was inside of the car other than the driver, a 58-year-old Florida resident. The reports did not indicate where the driver lived, where they were coming from, or where they were headed.

89-Year-Old Injured After Crashing Golf Cart into Sumter County Pole

Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol that emerged around an incident involving an 89-year-old Florida man, a golf cart, and a firmly planted pole began to emerge towards the end of April. According to these reports, it was on Monday, April 27th, that the almost 90-year-old individual decided to climb into his golf cart and take a drive. The reports did not indicate where the individual is believed to have been headed, and it is not clear if they were close to their residence or if they had traveled for some distance before the incident in question took place.

Semi-Truck Driver Injured After Truck Overturns in Polk County

Apartment Fire in Ocala Displaces Residents, Investigation Ongoing

Reports from the OFR indicated that the incident was first reported shortly before noon on Saturday, April 25th. It is not known who contacted the emergency personnel regarding the incident, but the call reported that one of the Steeples Apartments located along 2900 Southwest 41st Street was ablaze.
