Dumptruck Overturns in Brevard County, Hazmat Crews Called In
Hazmat crews working within Brevard County were on hand shortly after an accident that took place on Monday, October 28th, along State Road 524. Reports from the Brevard County Fire Rescue indicate that the hazmat crews as well as other emergency response crews rushed to the area sometime shortly before 8:00 in the morning in response to reports of a dump truck crashing and overturning on the road.
Wrong-Way Crash in Lake County Leaves One Dead, One Injured
A Lake County crash that took place towards the end of October resulted in the death of at least one person as well as the severe injury of another. Troopers working with the Florida Highway Patrol in Lake County stated that the wrong-way collision took place on the morning of Thursday, October 24th, and involved two vehicles. One of these vehicles, a Hyundai Santa Fe, was traveling down the eastern lane of State Road 40 when he neared a curve in the road. At the same time, a Honda Fit, being driven by an unnamed individual, was traveling down the western lane of State Road 40. It is believed that the precise location of the crash lies somewhere just to the east of Gustafson Drive.
One Dead, Two Injured in Osceola County Crash
A two-car collision resulted in the death of an 87-year-old man from Kissimmee on the night of Sunday, October 20th. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the incident took place sometime close to 10:00 at night, when a Hyundai Elantra collided with the right side of a Toyota Camry.
Death and Serious Injury After Wrong-Way Crash Near Tampa
A wrong-way crash that happened within Hillsborough County, close to Tampa, early on the morning of Saturday, October 12th, led to the death of a single individual. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol within the area indicated that the incident took place close to 5:00 in the morning, when a 39-year-old was driving their vehicle down the northern lanes of I-275. Unfortunately, the individual was driving southbound down these lanes, meaning that she was headed directly towards oncoming traffic.

Police working within Ocala are investigating a horrific car accident that took place early in October that involved a single car, four children, and a mother who believed she had been cursed by her husband. According to reports from the Ocala Police Department, the incident began sometime around 2:00 in the afternoon on Wednesday, October 2nd.

Police within Orange County are investigating a fatal car accident which took place on Thursday, October 3rd, along Colonial Drive and Chickasaw Trail. The initial reports from the Florida Highway Patrol posted that the accident happened as a result of a street race.

Officials working with numerous Orange County emergency response crews reported on an auto accident that took place in Orlando around 10:00 in the morning on Monday, October 14th. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident involved at least a single vehicle, although it is possible that other vehicles were involved. Additionally, it is not entirely clear at this point whether or not any injuries were sustained in the incident or even how many people were involved.
Driver Dies After Dump Truck Crashes, Overturns in Brevard County
On Monday, October 7th, a tragic incident occurred within Brevard County, resulting in the death of one individual and the injury of another. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident began close to noon when the tire on a dump truck began to separate from the vehicle as it was being driven down the Pineda Causeway. What exactly happened to cause the tire to begin to loosen from the truck is not clear, but in the following moments it appears that the dump truck collided with a guardrail.
Two Dead, More Injured in Rear-End Collision in Orlando
A crash that took place along a stretch of Orange Blossom Trail inside of Orlando resulted in the death of two individuals and the injury of several others. Two vehicles were involved in the rear-end collision, which is believed to have occurred very early in the morning on Friday, October 4th. Trailer Full of Tires Burns in Marion County Rest Stop
Numerous firefighters and first responders rushed to a rest stop in Marion County after a trailer hauling a large load of rubber tires caught fire. At the time of this writing, the reasons behind the blaze are not entirely clear.
