A young man from Clermont was reportedly killed after an accident that took place during the second to last week in November within Sumter County. Popular NASCAR Pit Crew Member Killed in Florida Keys Car Crash
NASCAR nation is mourning the loss of beloved pit crew member William “Rowdy” Harrell this week after the tragic news came in that he and his wife were killed in a car accident on Tuesday, November 24th, 2020, while celebrating their honeymoon in the Florida Keys. Harrell, who had been an intricate part of Hendrick Motorsports since 2013, and his brand-new bride, were only married for three days when the fatal collision occurred.
Small-Engine Plane Crash at Pembroke Pines Airport Kills Pilot
According to preliminary reports from Broward County officers, a pilot was killed Monday afternoon after the small-engine plane he was flying crashed near North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines. Witnesses to the aviation accident indicate that the pilot was experiencing engine/mechanical problems shortly before the crash occurred and was attempting to return to the airport when he suddenly lost altitude and control of his aircraft.
