On Friday, December 6th, police working within the city of Tampa responded to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a HART bus. When officers, paramedics, and EMTs arrived at the scene, they found the situation as described, with at least one person suffering from severe injuries. While the emergency medical teams tended to the injured, the police began their preliminary investigation into the motorycle accident, in the hopes that they might uncover just what happened to cause the frightening and deadly crash.

According to these reports, it was just before midnight on Saturday, December 14th, and the man, a Dunnellon resident, was behind the wheel of a Chevy Silverado and traveling down the northern lane of Southwest 129th Terrace Road.
De Leon Teenager Dies After Being Ejected from Car in Crash
Members of the Florida Highway Patrol are among those investigating a fatal auto accident that took place within Volusia County on the night of Saturday, December 14th. It appears as though the incident, which took place very early in the morning, around 3:30, only involved a single car, and that there was only a single individual within this car. This person, a 17-year-old from De Leon Springs, was either not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash or something happened to cause the belt to become unbuckled during the impact.

Two Pedestrians Struck by Pickup in Orange County Hit-and-Run
A hit-and-run accident that took place in Orange County towards the end of November is still under investigation as members of the Florida Highway Patrol work to uncover who was behind the wheel of a pickup truck as it careened through the parking lot of a Publix grocery store. Early reports from the scene included statements from witnesses. These statements indicated that the circumstances that ultimately led to the fatal crash began inside of Publix, which is located along East Colonial Drive close to Chuluota.
Fire After Gas Line Ruptured in Orange County Crash
A single-car crash that happened during the early hours of Thursday, December 12, resulted in a staggeringly large fire that lasted for several hours. Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol issued the initial statement regarding the incident, telling reporters that the car involved, a 2018 Toyota, was being driven by a 34-year-old Windermere resident. This individual was driving their car down either Ficquette Road or Overstreet Road when they approached the place where both of these roads intersect.
Adult and Child Hospitalized After Car Flips in Sumter County Crash
A two-car crash that took place within Sumter County on Saturday, November 30th, resulted in the hospitalization of at least two individuals. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol provide us with the majority of the information around the crash, and they state that both of the vehicles were traveling down the northern lanes of Interstate 75 in Sumter County when they approached a vehicle that is believed to be owned and operated by the Florida Highway Patrol itself.
One Injured After Zoo Train Overturns in Sanford
A visitor to the Central Florida Zoo located in the city of Sanford was injured on Monday, November 25th, after the mini train on which they were riding became derailed and rolled off of the tracks. Initial reports from the zoo itself stated that the train was traveling along its prescribed route close to 1:00 in the afternoon when, for reasons that are currently under investigation, it suddenly stopped. This abrupt action resulted in the car at the tail end of the train to jump off of the tracks and roll over.
