High-Speed Head-On Crash Kills Two Near Tampa
A driver headed the wrong way down a major highway within Hillsborough County, close to Tampa, seems to be behind a fatal head-on crash that took place earlier this month. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place very early on the morning of Saturday, June 6th. While the main crash involved only two vehicles, a third car became caught up in the debris that was spread across the road after the initial collision took place. It is believed that the driver of this third vehicle managed to escape suffering any injuries whatsoever from the incident.
Three Killed in Titusville Rollover were Department of Corrections Officers
In an update to a story we reported on earlier this month, it appears as though the four adults and one 9-year-old child who were involved in a fatal rollover accident close to the city of Titusville on Thursday, June 11th, were on their way to fish somewhere along the coast when the fatal accident took place. Additionally, it appears as though all three of the adults were members of the Florida Department of Corrections. It is not clear where the three were stationed, and it is still not clear what relationship the 9-year-old girl had with them.
Fatal Single Car Crash Involving Utility Pole in Osceola County
An auto accident that took place during the early morning hours of Monday, June 15th, resulted in the death of a single individual. It is not believed that any other people were involved in the incident, and only one vehicle was involved in the crash. Currently, the event is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Motorcyclist Suffers Fatal Injuries After Polk County Garage Accident
It was on the morning of Tuesday, June 9th, that 63-year-old Lakeland resident climbed aboard their motorcycle and began to pull out of their garage. According to reports from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the individual had only recently purchased the motorcycle after having spent many years without driving one. It is not clear when exactly the motorcycle was purchased, and it is also not clear if the 63-year-old had driven the bike after purchasing it or if this was the new owner’s inaugural ride.
One Pedestrian Killed, Two Injured in Marion County Pickup Truck Crash
A collision between a pickup truck and several pedestrians who were in the process of examining a flat tire resulted in one fatality and two sets of injuries for the pedestrians involved. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol indicated that the incident took place on the night of Thursday, June 11th, sometime around 8:50 in the evening, while motorists were traveling down County Road 475 within the city of Summerfield.
Teenager Survives Fatal Brevard County Rollover Crash
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal SUV rollover collision that happened in Brevard County on Thursday, June 11th. The crash happened early in the morning, close to 5:30, and involved two vehicles. One of the vehicles, a 2004 Ford Expedition, was holding four people at the time of the crash – three adults and one 15-year-old. The relationship between the child and the three adults is not currently known.
