Semi Hauling Concrete Crashes into Car in Lake County
On Friday morning, a semi-truck carrying a load of concrete was traveling down State Road 50 when it was involved in an accident with a car that left at least one person dead. Currently, there are reports from the Florida Highway Patrol that provide us with the greatest portion of the information that we possess. These reports state that it was sometime around 6:45 a.m. when a 43-year-old woman was driving their car down Douglas Road inside of Lake County. At a certain point along its trajectory, Douglas Road intersects with State Road 50, where it then concedes the right-of-way to travelers along State Road 50. This is indicated by the presence of a stop sign intended for travelers along Douglas Road.
