One Person Killed in Early Morning Orlando Car Accident
An unusual series of events has resulted in the death of a 24-year-old person from Orlando who was struck and killed by a car on Willowwood Street. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol indicated that the incident took place on Monday, February 18th, close to 2:15 in the morning.
One Dies in Lake County Mobile Home Fire
A mobile home in Lake County erupted into flames on Friday, February 5th, ultimately resulting in the death of one individual. According to reports from the Lake County Fire Rescue, the incident was first reported shortly before 4:30 in the morning after a person walking by the home heard explosions as well as saw flames shooting from the structure.
Three Construction Workers Injured in I-4 Ultimate Project
Only four days after work on the I-4 Ultimate Project resumed following a safety review, three new workers on the project were injured in a separate construction accident. The initial shutdown took place in an attempt to investigate the death of a 59-year-old from SGL Constructors who was struck in the head by an enormous iron pipe. While the findings of this investigation are not currently known, the continuation of the construction project indicates that the investigators were satisfied that safety standards were being met and the work could therefore continue.

Reports from the Orange County Fire Rescue indicated that the worker was a 59-year-old individual who was working along a stretch of Wymore Road when the fatal construction accident occurred.
Orlando Hit-and-Run Kills Pedestrian, Leaves OPD Searching for Answers
A collision that happened early on the morning of Tuesday, February 12th, resulted in the death of one Orlando man and has left the Orlando Police Department working on yet another hit-and-run case. Reports from the police state that the incident happened around 2:30 in the morning, close to the intersection of John Young Parkway and Arlington Street. Most of the situation leading up to the crash remains unknown, but it does seem clear that officers were called to the scene of the incident only to find that the pedestrian victim had sustained fatal injuries and that the driver responsible for these injuries had fled the scene.
Class-Action Lawsuit Filed After Couple’s Kia Erupts in Flame
On Thursday, February 7th, a couple in Polk County filed a class-action lawsuit that targeted Kia Motors. According to the couple, the lawsuit relates to a frightening incident that they experienced back in August of 2018 while they were driving their 2013 Kia Sorento down a road that was not named in the news stories conveying information regarding the lawsuit.
Pedestrian Struck and Killed while Crossing Orlando Street
The Florida Highway Patrol issued a statement recently about an incident which happened on Saturday, February 9th, that resulted in the death of one pedestrian. The Florida Highway Patrol’s report stated that the fatal interaction took place close to 6:30 at night, at the intersection of Goldenrod Road and Lake Underhill Road. A severe collision that happened in Orlando on the morning of Sunday, February 10th, resulted in the hospitalization of six people, four of them firefighters. Reports from the Orlando Fire Department stated that the emergency vehicle accident happened along Interstate 4, close to where this road intersects with Orange Blossom Trail.

On the night of Tuesday, February 5th, a collision took place along East Colonial Drive that resulted in the death of one person and the injury of several others. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the auto accident happened close to 10:00 in the evening, along a stretch of East Colonial Drive that runs near to State Road 417.
Two Die After Fleeing from Orlando Traffic Stop
A pair of individuals died in a car accident on Tuesday, February 5th, after crashing into a large pole while trying to avoid police making a traffic stop. Reports from the Orlando Police Department stated that the incident took place close to 2:30 in the morning on Tuesday, after an officer with the Orlando Police Department activated the lights on their cruiser in order to make a traffic stop close to Church Street and John Young Parkway. The officer who attempted to make the stop was reportedly rebuffed by the individuals inside of the car, and after an unknown period of time the officer abandoned their attempts to pull the car over.
