Members of the Florida Highway Patrol have issued a statement regarding the death of a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist in question, a 17-year-old from Orlando, was killed on Thursday, March 7th, while she was traveling down the western lanes of Fairbanks Avenue.
Motorcyclist Dies in Tampa Crash
On the morning of Wednesday, March 6th, a biker was killed in a Tampa motorcycle accident that happened along Channelside Drive after they were violently thrown from their vehicle. According to reports from the Tampa Police Department, the motorcyclist, a 23-year-old, was aboard their motorcycle at around 9:15 in the morning when they neared the intersection of Channelside Drive and South Florida Avenue within the city of Tampa.
Motorcyclist Dies in Hillsborough County Crash Near Tampa
Early on the morning of February 21st, a man from the city of Largo was riding a motorcycle along I-275 in Hillsborough County, close to Tampa, when something happened to cause him to lose control of the vehicle. It was close to 3:00 in the morning when the motorcyclist, a 51-year-old, was on their 2007 Suzuki and traveling down the southern lanes of I-275. Along the stretch of I-275 down which the motorcyclist was traveling, there exists a bridge that takes I-275 over Lois Avenue. The 51-year-old motorcyclist had just reached this bridge when, for reasons that are not currently clear, something caused them to crash their motorcycle.
Two Die in Orange County Crash Between Pickup Truck and Motorcycle
A collision that took place on Friday, February 22nd, between a pickup truck and a motorcycle is directly responsible for the death of two individuals and the serious injury of a third, says a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The truck vs. motorcycle accident took place around 7:30 in the evening, and involved only the two vehicles mentioned above, both of which were traveling towards the intersection of Jason Street and Oak Ridge Road, an intersection within Orange County.
Motorcyclist Dies after Collision within DeBary
A crash within the city of DeBary that took place early in December resulted in the death of one motorcyclist, according to reports from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. The motorcycle accident that caused this death is believed to have happened close to 7:30 on the evening of Saturday, December 1st, while numerous vehicles and their drivers were traveling to and from homes, restaurants, and weekend employment. The motorcyclist in question was driving their bike along Dirksen Drive, close to the intersection of this road and Interstate 4, when a Kia sedan attempted to turn across traffic in order to access the interstate.
Two Die in Orange County Motorcycle Crash
Two individuals were killed in a motorcycle accident on the night of Thursday, November 15th, after the bike they were riding on collided with the rear of a car traveling before them. According to the official report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident happened close to 8:00 at night along State Road 417, close to where this road intersects with State Road 528.
Osceola County Deputy Receives Road Rash after Crashing Motorcycle
During the beginning of November, a motorcycle accident occurred within Osceola County that resulted in the injury of at least one person. According to reports from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the person in question was one of its own deputies. It seems that this deputy was riding on a motorcycle when the incident happened, although it is not clear if the deputy was also on duty or if the motorcycle was a vehicle owned by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials within the Ormond Beach Police Department have confirmed that an officer working for them was one of the individuals involved in an auto accident that took place on Tuesday, November 6th. Reports relating to this incident suggest that the collision happened close to 1:00 in the afternoon and that the officer involved was not severely injured in the incident, although they were transported to a hospital after the crash and received an unknown amount of medical treatment.
One Dead in Head-On Crash in Orange County
An investigation is underway into the death of a 44-year-old traveling along an Orange County road on Sunday, October 21st. According to reports from members of the Florida Highway Patrol working within Orange County, the auto accident happened around 3:30 in the morning and involved a motorcycle and a car.
Motorcyclist Dies in Daytona Beach Crash
A crash on Tuesday, October 2nd, in the city of Daytona Beach resulted in the death of a motorcyclist after they were thrown from their vehicle. According to a report from the Daytona Beach Police Department, the accident took place at Midway Avenue, at the location where this street intersects with Williamson Boulevard. The initial reports did not indicate the time of day when the crash took place, and no updates to the story have yet to be released to provide us with the most current information that relates to the case.
