A motorcycle crash that took place within Brevard County during the end of November is behind the death of two individuals who were on a motorcycle and headed down the northern lanes of U.S. 1. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol working within the county indicated that the incident took place sometime during the day on Sunday, November 24th. What exactly caused the accident was not included in the information compiled for the initial report, suggesting that the investigation into the incident remains ongoing and incomplete.
Two Motorcyclists Die in New Smyrna Beach Crash
A head-on collision within Volusia County resulted in the death of two people and the serious injury of a third. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident was first reported sometime on the night of Tuesday, October 29th. It is not entirely clear at what time during the night the crash took place, but we know that it involved vehicles traveling along State Road 415, close to La Starza Drive, within the city of New Smyrna Beach.
Crash Between Motorcycle and Car in Daytona Beach Results in Fatality
A person riding a motorcycle down Derbyshire Road in Daytona Beach on the morning of Saturday, August 10th, was involved in a fatal crash after speeding by patrol officers. The Daytona Beach Police officer who saw the motorcyclist was working along Derbyshire Park, close to 9:15 in the morning, and reported back to the station that the motorcycle was traveling at what appeared to be an excessively high rate of speed.
Motorcyclist Killed in Head-On Collision with Disoriented Driver Near Tampa
Police working within a stretch of Pasco County that lies near to Tampa are crediting a fatal motorcycle accident that took place in the middle of June to a driver that became confused while attempting to merge onto Interstate 75. The Florida Highway Patrol has issued statements around the crash, and this is the source of most of the current information around the incident.
Motorcyclist Dies in Cocoa Crash with Car
A crash that took place in the city of Cocoa on Wednesday morning claimed the life of one person and caused injuries in another. Reports from the Cocoa Beach Police Department indicated that the motorcycle accident happened sometime close to 9:00 in the morning, along a stretch of U.S. Highway 1 that sits near to Highland Drive. It is believed that only two vehicles were involved in the crash, and that one of these vehicles was a motorcycle. It is not clear if there were any other individuals involved other than the drivers of these two vehicles, although it is likely that if there were additional injuries would have been reported.
Motorcycle Crash Near Tampa Results in Serious Injury
An accident that took place involving a motorcycle in Clearwater, just outside of Tampa, is still under investigation as police from the Clearwater Police Department attempt to put all the pieces together to uncover just what took place to result in the crash and subsequent injuries. According to the report form the Clearwater Police Department, the incident happened on Thursday, June 6th, at the intersection of South Fort Harrison Avenue and Turner Street.
Bizarre Lightning Strike Believed Responsible for Motorcyclist’s I-95 Death
Police within Volusia County believe that the death of a motorcyclist on Monday, June 10th, was caused by an errant strike of lightning. According to the reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 3:00 in the afternoon, close to mile marker 271 on an Ormond Beach section of Interstate 95.
Crash Between Jeep and Motorcycle in Volusia County Leaves One Dead
A 32-year-old individual died on Saturday, May 18th, after they were involved in a motorcycle accident in Volusia County that resulted in them being thrown from their motorcycle and into an intersection. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol at work within Volusia County indicated that the incident took place sometime around 7:00 in the evening and involved at least two vehicles.
Motorcyclist Dead After Three-Vehicle Crash in Volusia County
A crash involving at least three vehicles, including one motorcycle, left a single person dead and several others injured in Volusia County on the afternoon of Saturday, April 26th. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the motorcycle accident, which occurred at close to 4:20 in the afternoon, happened along State Road 415, close to where this road intersects with Reed Ellis Road. At this time, a 71-year-old New Smyrna Beach resident was riding their motorcycle down the northern lanes of State Road 415.
Daytona Beach Man and Mother Killed in Easter Weekend Motorcycle Accident
