Fatal Daytona Beach Crash Between Motorcycle and Civic

Police with Daytona Beach responded to reports of an accident that took place close to 7:40 at night on Tuesday and involved a motorcycle as well as a Honda Civic. What we know at this time is that the evening crash happened while the two vehicles were traveling along North Atlantic Avenue and Plaza Boulevard. Shortly before the incident, a 19-year-old man from Daytona Beach was behind the wheel of a 2017 four-door Honda Civic. He was driving this Civic down the northern lanes of North Atlantic Avenue, which is also called State Road A1A at this particular point, when he reached the intersection of North Atlantic Avenue and Plaza Boulevard.

No Charges for 82-Year-Old who Struck and Killed Child Pedestrian

In an update to an ongoing story that captured the attention of many within Central Florida, an 82-year-old Cape Canaveral woman who was behind the wheel of a car when it fatally struck a 12-year-old girl will not face any charges in relation to the incident. The fatal pedestrian accident itself took place on the 22nd of December, as the 12-year-old was walking with her family close to the intersection of Ellwood Avenue and State Road A1A.

Fire on I-4 in Orlando Involving Truck Carrying Frozen Food

Officers with the Florida Highway Patrol as well as emergency response teams from throughout Orlando and Orange County were on-hand to respond to an incident that took place on Wednesday, February 26th, along heavily trafficked stretch of Interstate 4 within the city of Orlando. According to reports from various news agencies as well as the various emergency response teams that rushed to the scene of the semi-truck accident, the event began sometime close to 9:00 at night on Wednesday, after a collision occurred involving a tractor-trailer that was hauling frozen food through the area.

Fatal Head-On Crash Between Car and Rock Truck in Sumter County

On the early morning of Thursday, February 27th, members of the Florida Highway Patrol were called to an auto accident that had taken place along U.S. Highway 301, close to this road’s intersection with County Road 523 in Sumter County. The reports at the time of this writing are still somewhat impoverished regarding the amount of information they possess, but it is believed that an investigation remains ongoing into the incident. At the time of this writing, we do know that an individual died as a result of the crash. It is not clear if anyone else was injured.

Two-Car Crash Results in Fatality in Seminole County

An accident on Thursday, February 27th, that took place within Seminole County, is believed to have caused the death of at least one individual, say troopers working within the area. According to the initial reports, the auto accident took place during the morning, although the exact time remains unknown. Crash Kills Pedestrian in Osceola County

Little is currently known about a fatal auto accident that took place between a car and a pedestrian within Osceola County on Sunday, February 16th. The information currently available to the public suggests that it was sometime during the late afternoon that an individual on foot was attempting to cross the street close to the intersection of U.S. 192 and Old Vineland Road. It is not clear if the pedestrian was at the intersection when they began crossing the street or if they instead chose to try and cross where there was no intersection and, therefore, no crosswalk.

Pregnant Woman Narrowly Escapes House Fire in Orange County

A violent house fire that took place in Orange County nearly caused the death of a pregnant woman on the morning of Monday, February 17th. The fire, which was first reported sometime around 8:30 in the morning, began at an unknown time, but when it was noticed by residents of the home, it was too late to quickly extinguish the flames. It is not clear who alerted the Orange County Fire Department about the fire, but as soon as they received the call, numerous units were on their way to the burning home, located along Valley Drive.

Driver in Critical Condition After Kissimmee Freight Train Collision
