Massive Traffic Delays After Semi and Car Collide in Osceola County Toll Booth
Images from the scene of an accident involving a semi truck and a tollbooth along the Florida Turnpike speak of the extreme force involved when a truck hauling blocks and bags of ice crashed heavily into a concrete pillar separating toll lanes. According to current reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Monday, October 5th, at the tollbooth located along the Florida Turnpike’s southbound lanes. Located at mile marker 236, this tollbooth normally has four different lanes for each direction. As a result of the accident, three of these lanes were closed. The following traffic jam stretched 3 miles away from the tollbooth itself and resulted in hours of delays as drivers frantically searched for alternate routes to reach their own final destinations.
One Teen Dead, Three Seriously Injured During Early Morning Crash in Clermont
A deadly collision occurred within the Florida city of Clermont near the end of September that resulted in the death of at least one person as well as the injury of three others. Reports so far have indicated that the incident happened very early in the morning on Tuesday, September 22nd, and involved a Toyota Corolla and a Penske box truck. Inside of the Toyota at the time of the crash were four teenagers, all of them between 13 and 14 years of age. Inside of the Penske truck were two individuals who were not described in the initial report.
Escambia County Rear-End Collision Kills 11-Year-Old Passenger
On October 3rd, 2020, five people were injured and one was killed after a two-car crash along State Road 97 near Walnut Hill in Escambia County. According to collision reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old pickup truck driver was attempting to pass another vehicle while traveling in a no-passing zone and as a result of this dangerous decision, he rear-ended the SUV in front of him which fatally injured an 11-year-old passenger.

Two-Car Crash on Orlando Stretch of I-4 Results in Single Fatality
A late-September car crash on an Orlando stretch of I-4 resulted in the death of an unnamed woman, says reports from the Orlando Police Department. Their full report, which was issued shortly after the initial investigation was conducted, states that it was just after 12:30 on the morning of Friday, September 25th, when the woman was driving her 2014 blue Mini Cooper down the western lanes of I-4, close to the intersection with Conroy Road. A second vehicle was reportedly involved, but this vehicle and its driver were not described in any way.
Passenger Dies After Being Ejected from Pickup in I-4 Crash in Osceola County
Two individuals were involved in a single-car crash that happened within Osceola County on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 22nd. The accident was violent and happened while the only vehicle involved, a pickup truck, was traveling at an advanced rate of speed. It is extremely fortunate that no other vehicles were involved in the incident as it took place along a very busy stretch of Interstate 4 at a time when there are usually quite a few vehicles traveling along the roadway.

It was a sad evening in Seattle this weekend as New England Patriots running back James White learned that both of his parents had been involved in a deadly auto accident in South Florida, and that his father had not survived.
