Fatal Crash Along Orange County Beachline
A fatal accident took place late on Wednesday morning, shortly before 12:00pm, along a stretch of the Beachline in Orange County. The Florida Highway Patrol’s statement on the crash indicates that the deceased is believed to be a 21-year-old man from Rockledge, although no name or other identifying details are currently public knowledge. Further biographical information is pending contact with the dead man’s next of kin.
Orlando Man Miraculously Alive after 4-Ton Metal Object Rolls off Overpass
An Orlando resident named Jesus A. Escobar narrowly survived a harrowing and bizarre accident on Saturday morning after an enormous piece of metal toppled off of an overpass and landed directly on top of the van he was driving. The Florida Highway Patrol has issued a statement saying that they were first alerted to a crash along the westbound lanes of Interstate 4. According to the statement, a tractor-trailer pulling a load of scrap metal was attempting to turn off of the interstate and onto State Road 528 when the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle, which caused it to collide with a guardrail and flip over.
Rear-End Collision Kills Orange County Man
A 24-year-old male from Palm Bay, Florida died this week following an automobile crash. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash happened in the early evening on State Road 520 in Orange County, just about one mile south of James Creek Road. The victim was driving his 2013 Hyundai east when he failed to slow down as he approached a semi-truck ahead of him. His car hit the back of the trailer, causing the crash that killed him. The 34-year-old Miami man driving the semi-truck was not hurt.
Orlando Good Samaritan Dies While Offering Roadside Assistance
A good samaritan who was helping victims of an Interstate 95 accident was killed on Tuesday. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the samaritan was hit while out helping a South Carolina family who was involved in an automobile crash in Volusia County near I-95’s mile marker 277.
July 4th Weekend Crash Leaves Two Floridians Seriously Injured
Two Kissimmee, Florida natives were seriously injured in an automobile crash on the Florida turnpike leading into the long July 4th holiday weekend. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened when the 56-year-old male driver lost control of his 2009 Toyota Corolla near the Okahumpka Service Plaza. This caused him to swerve off the road and hit a tree located along the highway’s shoulder.
Orange County Crash Leaves Two Dead, Four Injured
At the intersection of Semoran Boulevard and Hanging Moss Road in Orange County on Tuesday night an accident occurred when a car attempted turn from Semoran Boulevard’s left lane into a parking lot and collided with the right side of another vehicle. Based on the report by the Florida Highway Patrol, we know that the first vehicle, a 1995 Honda Civic, made the left turn, apparently unaware that the second car, a 2015 four-door Ford, was traveling directly across the Civic’s proposed path.

A local Orlando Hospital has recently seen an alarming uptick in the number of children suffering injuries after auto accidents.
Pediatric trauma director Dr. Donald Plumley from Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children stated: “It’s just, it’s easy. You’re talking on the phone. You’ve got groceries. It’s raining. You put the kid in the car seat, and you forget to buckle it. It’s just one of those things you’ve got to stop and think for a minute.”
Cars and a Home Damaged in Orlando Road Rage Incident
A bizarre incident of road rage seems to have taken place in Orlando on Saturday morning. Although the Florida Highway Patrol have yet to issue a full report of the incident, numerous witnesses at the scene have described the circumstances that led to the crash which involved several cars, a house, and a harmless tree. According to the witnesses, the accident happened close to where North lane intersects Innesbrook Court. Loud sounds of two people arguing first alerted the neighbors to the possibility of something unexpected occurring. One of the witnesses stated that the argument was between a woman and her boyfriend, although none of the witnesses could confirm what exactly the couple’s argument was about.

Family Saved from Burning Car after Collision in Orlando
The bravery and quick thinking of several witnesses to a violent accent at the intersection of Orlando’s East Colonial Drive and Forsyth Road likely saved the life of a child. The accident, which led to the injury of six people, took place on Wednesday morning after a 2001 Honda Accord driven by Anaida Angulo collided with the rear end of a Toyota minivan being driven by an unnamed man from Maryland. Inside the car with the man from Maryland were the rest of his family, which included his three children.
