Family Saved from Burning Car after Collision in Orlando
The bravery and quick thinking of several witnesses to a violent accent at the intersection of Orlando’s East Colonial Drive and Forsyth Road likely saved the life of a child. The accident, which led to the injury of six people, took place on Wednesday morning after a 2001 Honda Accord driven by Anaida Angulo collided with the rear end of a Toyota minivan being driven by an unnamed man from Maryland. Inside the car with the man from Maryland were the rest of his family, which included his three children.
Crash Between Two Motorcycles in Orange County Leaves One Person Dead
A motorcycle crash on State Road 50 (also known as East Colonial Drive) in Orange County has left one individual dead and several others admitted to a hospital for injuries suffered. According to the report filed by the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident involved two vehicles, both of them motorcycles. Each of the motorcycles was carrying two individuals: the driver and a passenger. As both bikes made their way down East Colonial Drive, the bike in front began to slow as the driver prepared to turn off of East Colonial Drive and onto Cupid Avenue.

Giving people both the opportunity to watch and participate in high-speed racing, it has become a place for professional and amateur racers to rub elbows, and for everyone present to enjoy the loud roar of engines pushed to their limit. However, this past Wednesday visitors to the Dragway witnessed a horrifying end to one individual’s race.
