Cars and a Home Damaged in Orlando Road Rage Incident
A bizarre incident of road rage seems to have taken place in Orlando on Saturday morning. Although the Florida Highway Patrol have yet to issue a full report of the incident, numerous witnesses at the scene have described the circumstances that led to the crash which involved several cars, a house, and a harmless tree. According to the witnesses, the accident happened close to where North lane intersects Innesbrook Court. Loud sounds of two people arguing first alerted the neighbors to the possibility of something unexpected occurring. One of the witnesses stated that the argument was between a woman and her boyfriend, although none of the witnesses could confirm what exactly the couple’s argument was about.
It is believed that the woman then jumped into a Ford Explorer and attempted to aggressively speed off. Before getting very far, she first collided with a sedan parked before her; then she veered across the road and sideswiped a Jeep driving down the opposite side of the road. After the unexpected collision, the driver of the Jeep lost control of their vehicle, hit and then leapt over the curb, and crashed directly into a nearby home.
The driver of the Explorer, alarmed about the situation she created, decided to try and flee. Fortunately for those who will likely begin to seek financial reparation for the completely unnecessary accident, she was not able to control herself for very long and wound up crashing into a tree several yards away from where she hit the Jeep.
Residents along the street are understandably disappointed at the behavior of this woman and the damage she caused to their property. The home hit by the Jeep now contains an undesirable hole in one of its walls, and both the Jeep and the Sedan suffered from fairly severe damage. It is not known whether or not the individual behind the wheel of the Jeep was injured in the crash. It is also not known whether or not the driver of the Explorer suffered any injuries as a result of the accident.
The name of the woman who caused all of this has yet to be released, and it is not clear whether or not the authorities have served her with any citations or charges. More details about this pointless carnage are likely to emerge as the Orlando Police Department work to unravel all the pertinent facts.
