Pulse Survivor Killed in Orange County Collision

In a tragic run of events, one of the survivors from the Pulse nightclub shooting was killed on Monday when their car was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle on State Road 417 in the early hours of the morning. The report filed by Florida State Troopers states that Jahqui Sevilla, the 20-year-old Pulse survivor, was driving her 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer along the Central Florida Greenway at around 12:30 in the morning when her car, for reasons that are unknown, left the southbound lanes, drove across the grassy median, and entered the northbound lanes driving in the wrong direction.

Crash Between Orange County Deputy and Civilian

On Wednesday evening, a 51-year-old woman was involved in a crash with a police cruiser that resulted in her being sent to the hospital. The accident took place close to 7:30 in the evening, at the intersection of Alafaya Trail and Colonial Drive. The deputy, a member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, was responding to an emergency call that took him southward on Alafaya Trail. According to the report, Deputy Wayne Lenihan, a 51-year-old, had engaged both the emergency lights and the siren as he made his way towards the intersection with Colonial Drive.

Three Die in Orange County Head-On Collision

A senseless and violent accident accident took place along Orange County’s State Road 50 in early evening on Saturday. A BMW being driven by an unnamed 45-year-old man was traveling west on Colonial Drive shortly before the accident. According to numerous witnesses, the BMW was driving erratically, swerving in and out of traffic and generally behaving in a completely unnecessary and dangerously aggressive manner. Close to where State Road 50 connects to Gloucester Street, and just to the west of State Road 520, the BMW’s driver swerved his car into the eastbound lane and directly into a pickup truck.

Miami Police Officer Hospitalized after Morning Crash

An accident between a 26-year-old Miami police officer and a 47-year-old civilian has sent the two individuals to the hospital. According to the spokesperson for the Miami Police Department, Kenia Fallat, the accident took place around 4:30 on Monday morning at an intersection that has not yet been identified. The official statement indicates that the officer, Carlos Gomez, has only been with the Miami Police Department for a year. Shortly before the accident took place, Officer Gomez received a priority call directing him to the scene of another emergency. It was while he was speeding towards his destination that the accident took place.

Avalon Park Residents Demand Better Street Lighting After Numerous Accidents

Avalon Park, a small, unincorporated town close to Orlando, has its residents up in arms after the most recent accident along Avalon Park Boulevard left a 15-year-old high school student dead and police searching for the driver of the motorcycle that killed him. U.S. 1 Ranked Most Deadly Road in America

The popular fleet management solution group Geotab has released a disturbing study that ranks the country’s most dangerous roadways based on the number of accidents (both fatal and not) that have occurred on them over the past ten years. According to this group’s findings, the study was broken down into three different categories: fatal crash rate, specific number of crashes, and the total fatalities. In all three of these categories, Florida ranked number one in the country. Even more unpleasant, it was a specific highway in Florida that ranked number one in the study: U.S. 1.

Child Dies in Two Car Jacksonville, Florida Crash

The Florida automobile accident happened on Thursday evening on Sunbeam Road near San Jose Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida.
