Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department are attempting to formulate a plan to cut down on the number of individuals illegally driving ATVs such as dirt bikes and four-wheelers along highways and other primary roads. According to numerous news stories and police reports, groups of ATVs have recently been caught on camera creating severe road hazards as their drivers weave in and out of traffic, cut off cars, and tear through busy intersections while attempting to pull off “stunts” such as wheelies.
Two High-School Students Die in Head-On Crash in Volusia County
Police with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office are saying that a fatal collision that happened in Deltona on Thursday, March 28th, was the result of excessive speeds. According to reports from deputies with this government agency, the incident occurred close to 10:45 in the evening and involved several individuals who were students at the Pine Ridge High School.
One Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Orange County Crash
A fatal auto accident that took place within Orange County this past week is still under investigation as the Florida Highway Patrol attempts to uncover just what caused the collision. Reports that have emerged so far indicate that it was close to 5:00 in the morning on Saturday, March 23rd, when three cars were speeding down eastbound State Road 408. It is not clear if these three cars were racing or if their trajectories had nothing at all to do with one another.
Nine-Year-Old Injured in Orange County Multi-Vehicle Crash
Numerous vehicles were involved in a crash that took place in Orlando on Friday, March 15th, close to 5:00 in the evening. According to reports from the Orange County Fire Rescue, the multi-vehicle auto accident involved several cars and a motorcycle, although it is not clear just what responsibility any of the drivers of these vehicles holds in the devastating incident.

A series of auto accidents resulted in a person being killed in St. Cloud on Friday, March 15th, after they were unwittingly involved in an accident caused by a person who was angry at their girlfriend. According to reports from the St. Cloud Police Department, the incident took place sometime around 10:30 at night and wound up involving 5 different vehicles.
Two Civilians, Four Firefighters Injured in Orlando Car Crash
A severe collision that happened in Orlando on the morning of Sunday, February 10th, resulted in the hospitalization of six people, four of them firefighters. Reports from the Orlando Fire Department stated that the emergency vehicle accident happened along Interstate 4, close to where this road intersects with Orange Blossom Trail.
One Dead, Three Injured in Multi-Car Crash in Orange County
On the night of Tuesday, February 5th, a collision took place along East Colonial Drive that resulted in the death of one person and the injury of several others. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the auto accident happened close to 10:00 in the evening, along a stretch of East Colonial Drive that runs near to State Road 417.
Two Die After Fleeing from Orlando Traffic Stop
A pair of individuals died in a car accident on Tuesday, February 5th, after crashing into a large pole while trying to avoid police making a traffic stop. Reports from the Orlando Police Department stated that the incident took place close to 2:30 in the morning on Tuesday, after an officer with the Orlando Police Department activated the lights on their cruiser in order to make a traffic stop close to Church Street and John Young Parkway. The officer who attempted to make the stop was reportedly rebuffed by the individuals inside of the car, and after an unknown period of time the officer abandoned their attempts to pull the car over.
One Dead in Auto Accident on Foggy Stretch of State Road 589 Near Tampa
Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are crediting a fatal accident that took place on Sunday, February 3rd, to an over-consumption of alcohol. The report states that the incident took place along State Road 589 and resulted in lane closures that lasted upwards of seven hours while the emergency crews and investigators engaged in their preliminary activities.
One Dead in Orange County Industrial Accident Involving Garbage Truck
Reports from the Orange County Fire Rescue are indicating that an individual who became trapped beneath a dump truck on Saturday perished as a result of the injuries they sustained in the accident. These reports indicate that the ordeal took place sometime in the morning and that in involved a stationary dump truck that was located along the 9000 block of Sidney Hayes Road.
