An ongoing investigation into the death of a civilian after the car they were driving was rear-ended by an Osceola County deputy has reached a strange pause since the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office seemingly refuses to transfer important pieces of information over to the Florida Highway Patrol troopers responsible for the investigation. The initial incident was widely reported on in news outlets as well as on this blog.
Officer Collides with Vehicle During Chase through Seminole County
Recent reports from the Orlando Police Department shed some light on an incident that happened on Thursday, November 7th, and resulted in the hospitalization of two individuals. From these reports, it came out that one of the main people involved in the emergency vehicle accident was an officer with the Orlando Police Department, and that, furthermore, the officials in charge of the investigation are looking into whether or not this officer was the responsible party for some of the events.
Orange County Crash Kills One after Car Overturns Multiple Times
A violent crash that happened within the Orange County town of Christmas on Friday, November 2nd, resulted in the death of one individual. According to the report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision took place close to 4:00 in the afternoon and only involved one vehicle. This vehicle, a 1990 Ford Ranger, was driving along either East Colonial Drive of Taylor Creek Road. It is not believed that the incident took place at the intersection of these two roads but that it instead happened along one of them but still close to the intersection itself.
Driver Dies After Losing Control of Car on Orange Blossom Trail
A collision involving multiple cars in Orange County resulted in the death of one individual on Saturday, October 20th. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol working within Orange County indicated that the incident happened along Orange Blossom Trail, close to where this road intersects with 35th Street and that it took place around 3:00 in the morning.
Three Dead in Four-Car Crash in Osceola County
A massive crash in Osceola County on Saturday, October 13th, resulted in the death of three individuals, all of whom were standing outside of their vehicles at the time. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the entire incident stemmed from a single-car crash that then developed into a four-vehicle debacle that involved pedestrians.
Marion County T-Bone Crash Leaves One Dead
A crash in Marion County that happened on the afternoon of Saturday, October 13th, resulted in the death of one person and the injury of another. According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, it was sometime around 2:45 in the afternoon when the incident occurred along U.S. 27 and County Road 464B. Two cars were involved in the crash, and it is believed that the cars each only contained one person.
Plywood Smashes Through Windshield, Rockledge Driver Injured
A nasty surprise met a driver in Rockledge on Friday, October 12th, while they were driving down Interstate 95 inside of Brevard County. According to reports from the Brevard County Fire Rescue, the driver in question was behind the wheel of a four-door Honda sometime after 2:00 in the afternoon when they began to drive close to a pickup truck hauling sheets of plywood.

Reports surrounding a recent crash in Osceola County that involved a deputy with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office suggest that the collision resulted from a brake failure from within the patrol car. We reported on this incident last week, shortly after it happened. At the time of that writing, much of the information surrounding the incident remained unclear, but now new developments have emerged that quickly became public knowledge.
Seven-Year-Old Child Badly Injured in Pine Hills Crash
An incident that took place on Wednesday, October 3rd, in the town of Pine Hills in Orange County, resulted in a 7-year-old child suffering from injuries that were described in the initial report as being severe. Because the incident is still under investigation, many of the details concerning just what happened, why, and who might be responsible are not confirmed. What we do know is that the auto accident happened sometime after 5:00 in the evening and that it involved the above-mentioned child as well as a 33-year-old driving a four-door Hyundai.
Crash Between Osceola Deputy and Civilian Leaves One Dead
A deputy with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is allegedly responsible for an accident that caused the death of a 34-year-old man from Clermont. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the incident happen close to Walt Disney World and involved four cars: a cruiser with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office and a pickup truck were the primary vehicles.
