Orange County Crash Kills One after Car Overturns Multiple Times
A violent crash that happened within the Orange County town of Christmas on Friday, November 2nd, resulted in the death of one individual. According to the report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision took place close to 4:00 in the afternoon and only involved one vehicle. This vehicle, a 1990 Ford Ranger, was driving along either East Colonial Drive of Taylor Creek Road. It is not believed that the incident took place at the intersection of these two roads but that it instead happened along one of them but still close to the intersection itself.
As the driver of the Ranger was making their way down the street, something happened to cause them to lose control of the vehicle. At the time of this writing, it is not believed that any witnesses to the incident came forward and police are scratching their heads as to just what happened to cause the sudden loss of control. There was a tornado warning that affected the area where the Ranger was driving, but there is not news from the Florida Highway Patrol as to whether or not this weather phenomena is believed to be responsible.
The driver, a 28-year-old, was not able to wrestle control back from the car itself, and soon the vehicle began to overturn. According to the report, the car is believed to have rolled at least seven or eight times before it finally came to a halt. As a result of this violent and constant movement, and because he was not wearing a seatbelt, the 28-year-old driver was thrown from the vehicle.
It is not known who called 9-1-1 to report the incident, but emergency response crews rushed to the scene as soon as they learned of the crash. Despite the efforts of the paramedics and EMTs, there was nothing that they could do for the single occupant of the Ranger. He was declared dead at the scene.
Currently, an investigation remains underway to discover just what happened to cause this violent and deadly incident with the above-mentioned hypothesis being one of the possible conclusions. No other information was included in the report.
