Body Found Inside Burning Car on Disney Property

Disney officials have yet to release an official statement regarding an individual who was discovered dead inside of a burning car close to a miniature golf course owned by the entertainment giant in Orange County. Reports from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office indicate that the police were first contacted shortly after 4:00 in the morning on Monday, August 20th, in order to help the Reedy Creek Fire Department extinguish and examine a vehicle fire that was raging close to the Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course, a Disney-owned property.

Eustis Woman Struck and Killed While Crossing Highway 27 on Foot

On Thursday, August 2nd, a pedestrian was walking along the side of Highway 27, close Leesburg’s Northshore Drive, when they decided to attempt to cross the busy roadway. The Leesburg Police Department has issued an official statement regarding the incident in which all of the known information is disseminated. The end of the statement does indicate that the incident is still under investigation, which means that it is entirely possible that additional facts will come to light that will change this or that interpretation of the events that took place.

Orlando Wrongful Death: Boy Dies of Methadone Overdose

A 32-year-old Holly Hill man is facing murder charges after a 14-year-old boy died from a methadone overdose after finding the drug in the trash. The Volusia County State Attorney’s Office recently issued an indictment for the man for first-degree murder and a felony charge of delivering a controlled substance to a minor in connection with the boy’s death. The man is accused of driving the victim and another 17-year-old minor to Whitney Labs near Ormond Beach on Highway 1 early on the morning of May 24 and showing the boys how to find methadone the company has discarded in a dumpster.
