65-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in Apopka
Police in Orange County are working on a case that happened towards the end of October that resulted in the death of a pedestrian inside of the city of Apopka. Florida Highway Patrol Officials told reporters that the incident took place sometime around 8:50 in the evening along Apopka Boulevard. The police stated that the accident happened just before Apopka Boulevard intersects with Sugar Pine Road and that the individual who died as a result was a 65-year-old resident of Apopka. The name of this individual has yet to be released pending contact with the victim’s family.
Florida Highway Patrol Investigates Pedestrian Death in Winter Park
Reports from the Florida Highway patrol recently emerged regarding an incident that happened in Winter Park earlier this month and resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The reports state that the pedestrian in question was walking along Aloma Avenue, nearing the intersection of Aloma Avenue and Palmetto Avenue, when they were struck by a car also traveling down the same road.
Orlando Pedestrian Struck and Killed at John Young Parkway and Colonial Drive
Police with the Orlando Police Department are working on an investigation into an accident that happened close to the intersection of John Young Parkway and Colonial Drive in Orlando on Saturday, September 1st, that resulted in the death of a pedestrian. Reports from the authorities suggest that it was sometime around 9:00 at night and the pedestrian was walking along either John Young Parkway or Colonial Drive. It is also possible that the pedestrian was in the process of crossing one of these streets in order to get to the other or simply to reach the other side of the roadway.
Pedestrian Killed By Person Driving Ford F-250 in Marion County
On Thursday, August 30th, a 28-year-old man from Willison was behind the wheel of large and cumbersome Ford F-250 truck as he made his way down County Road 318 in Marion County. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol suggest that the fatal pedestrian accident took place close to the area called North West 67 Court. At the same time, the person who was driving the Ford, a 31-year-old individual, who was not identified other than to state his age, was walking along this same roadway.
Pedestrian Dies after Being Struck by Two Cars in Orange County
Around a week ago, on Friday, August 24, a person was walking along or in a street in Orange County when she was struck and killed by two passing cars. Details from the incident were released in reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, and it was indicated that the person on foot was indeed attempting to cross the street at the time when they were struck by the car.
Truck versus Pedestrian Accident Leaves Florida Man Dead
A Florida man was killed Saturday while out for a walk on US Highway 1. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the 39-year-old male was walking southbound on US 1 when, for an unknown reason, he walked directly into the path of an oncoming Dodge pickup truck. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the truck was not injured.

Police working within the city of Holly Hill released an early report on a pedestrian accident that took place on Thursday night and resulted in the death of a woman who was on foot near to or in the street. The report describes what is currently known about the incident, although it is clear that the person’s death is still under investigation and there are a few key pieces of information that are simply not available at this time.
Eustis Woman Struck and Killed While Crossing Highway 27 on Foot
On Thursday, August 2nd, a pedestrian was walking along the side of Highway 27, close Leesburg’s Northshore Drive, when they decided to attempt to cross the busy roadway. The Leesburg Police Department has issued an official statement regarding the incident in which all of the known information is disseminated. The end of the statement does indicate that the incident is still under investigation, which means that it is entirely possible that additional facts will come to light that will change this or that interpretation of the events that took place.
Car Strikes and Kills Pedestrian in Orange County
Friday morning, on Lake Underhill Road, a pedestrian is walking along the side of the street when they decide to cross the roadway. This is not an unusual occurrence along the Orange County Roads, and it often is the case that pedestrians are making their way near to or alongside busy roads and then decide to cross them. In most places, sidewalks and designated crossing areas exist in order to make the situation safer for those looking to navigate their way from one side of the road to the other; however, in some places these safety measures do not exist.
UFC Student Struck and Killed by Car in Seminole County
On Wednesday, close to 9:00 in the evening, a 21-year-old student of the University of Central Florida was out taking his traditional evening run when he was struck by a 2003 Toyota and killed. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the emergency call and released the initial reports on the incident. From their statements, we know that the collision between the Toyota and the young man happened along Alafaya Trail, close to where it crosses Carrigan Avenue, and near to the city of Oviedo.
