Lynx Bus Involved in Multi Vehicle Crash in Orlando
Early on Thursday, the Orange County Fire Rescue and deputies with the Orlando Police Department responded to reports of a multi-vehicle crash along Colonial Drive. When they arrived, the members of the various emergency response teams discovered numerous vehicles in severely mangled states as well as at least one passenger trapped inside one of them.
Two Injured during House Fire in Pine Hills
A fire at a private residence in Pine Hills was the cause of one hospitalization and one injured ankle early on Wednesday morning after firefighters with the Orange County Fire Rescue arrived to battle the flames.
Man Struck and Killed by SunRail Train in Orlando
Orlando police have issued a statement regarding the man who was struck and killed by a SunRail train a week ago, Thursday. According to their account, the man was the 84-year-old William Milligan. It is believed that Milligan, who suffered from dementia, was taking a walk when the incident occurred shortly after 7:00 in the evening. Walking near to his Orlando home, which is located close to Orange Avenue and Wilkinson Street, Milligan approached the tracks. His stroll near to the train is not unusual given that Milligan’s home is located very close to the rails.
Update on Orlando’s Hogwarts Express Malfunction
In an update to last week’s story about the riders of Universal Orlando Resort’s Hogwarts Express who became trapped within the train as it made its way from King’s Cross Station in London to Hogsmeade Station, it seems that the city of Orlando has allowed the previously unmentioned 9-1-1 calls made from within the trapped train to be released. The initial report on the incident was made primarily using statements from the management from Universal Studios and did not include any mention of the 9-1-1 calls.
Man Sets Fire to Home in Orlando after Argument
A house fire located along Ravenall Avenue just after 5:00 in the morning last Thursday resulted in the Orlando Fire Department battling a wall of flame and the arrest of a 51-year-old Orlando man. According to the Orlando Police Department, Terry Wright was living in the home along with at least two other men at the time of the fire. While the Orlando Fire Department fought the flames, Wright walked up to an attending Orange County Deputy and indicated that he caused the fire and was now turning himself into the police.

Train vs Truck Accident in Green Cove Springs
One person is reported dead following a train vs truck accident that happened nearby Green Cove Springs, Florida. According to a report filed by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), two people were inside the truck when it was hit by an oncoming Amtrak train that had recently left Orlando and was on its way to New York City. The crash left the passenger, a 38 year old male, dead at the scene and the 41 year old male driver seriously injured.
Chain Reaction Accident Leaves One Dead Near Orlando
An Orlando man died following an automobile crash on State Road 528 last Friday – a chain reaction crash that also left three others injured. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident started when a 31 year old male driver rear ended a 2013 BMW driven by a 37 year old male driver in the westbound lanes of State Road 528 at mile marker 31 in Orange County, Florida. The rear end accident left the BMW in the left late.
Train Malfunctions at Universal Orlando Resort
Would-be wizards and warlocks were alarmed on Thursday afternoon after the shuttle transporting them from King’s Cross Station in London to Hogsmeade Station in Orlando suffered from a technical malfunction which resulted in the magic fans of all ages being stranded for over an hour in a hot compartment without air conditioning. No amount of wizard training prepared the guests of Universal Orlando Resort’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter for this very non-magical moment, and it is reported that in the resulting situation several people became faint due to the heat and lack of water.
One Dead after Car Crashes into Trees Along Orlando’s Beachline
A crash involving a single vehicle along an Orange County stretch of the Beachline late on Thursday night resulted in the death of a 24-year-old man from Titusville and the injuries of two other individuals. The Florida Highway Patrol are currently investigating the situation, however they have issued a preliminary statement regarding the scenario that includes all the currently available information on the case.
