Road Rage Incident Leaves One Injured in Apopka
A 74 year old male driver is accused of ramming his Corvette into an SUV multiple times in a fit of road rage. According to police, the SUV was traveling west on Wekiva Springs Road when he tried to pass a 2005 yellow Corvette. However, the Corvette wouldn’t let him pass and, when he finally did pass, the Corvette ‘played games’ with the SUV. When the SUV turned into the entrance of the Sweetwater West subdivision, the Corvette sideswiped him, backed up, hit the car again and then rammed the SUV one more time before speeding away. This left the SUV backed into a pole sideways and at risk of being hit by oncoming traffic.

Tree Trimmer Injured in Orange County
During the morning hours of this past Tuesday, residents along Lake Underhill Road in Orlando were pleased to see workers operating cherry pickers high up in the trees, trimming off the dead branches and ensuring that no power lines were coming in contact with the woody growth spanning the road. Cherry pickers, for those who do not know, are unique vehicles, equipped with four larger wheels. They have limited movement capabilities and are self powered. The key feature of the machine is that it can, through a clever lattice of hydraulics, raise a platform equipped with all the controls upwards of 30 feet straight up in the air. Workers on these platforms can then perform maintenance on things like trees crossing over busy roads.
