Casselberry Fire Displaces Family of Six
Firefighters in Casselberry responded to reports of a house fire on Thursday morning and rushed to the scene of the reported incident. When they arrived at the home located on Willow Bay Terrace, the firefighters with the Seminole County Fire Department said that they discovered an active blaze working its way through the garage of the home. The incident, which was reported around 12:05 in the morning, resulted in the fire crews battling the flames before they could spread through the garage and begin affecting the other homes nearby.
Orlando Driver Crashes Car Through Home
Late into the evening last Friday, an accident took place at a home located Moritz Court, just behind Chickasaw Trail and to the north of Curry Ford Road, that left two individuals injured (one in critical condition) and a home badly damaged. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, this Orlando-based crash took place after an unnamed 24-year-old Orlando resident failed to navigate a curve on Chickasaw Trail and drove his 1999 BMW off of the roadway, through a guardrail, and into the side of a home. Initial reports from the Florida Highway Patrol suggest that the man may have been driving well over the posted limit.

A car accident involving multiple vehicles left one person severely injured. According to Orlando police, the accident happened early Monday morning near the intersection of West Oak Ridge Road and Millenia Boulevard.
Single Car Crash in Orlando During Rush Hour Kills One
It was on Wednesday, either during or just after rush hour, when police with the Orlando Police Department received a call directing them towards North John Young Parkway. Specifically, the caller indicated that an accident had occurred at the intersection of North John Young Parkway and Princeton Street. While the initial report from the Orlando Police Department did not name the individual who made the call, it is known that the accident took place when a high volume of cars were on the road, meaning that it was likely witnessed by numerous people.

Orlando Driver Loses Control, Crashes into Home
A 24 year old from Orlando, Florida was hospitalized recently after his BMW crashed into a local home. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash happened at 1:00 Friday morning. The driver, whose name has not been released, was driving on Chickasaw Trail when he lost control of his vehicle. The BMW hit a guardrail and brick wall before crashing into a home located on Moritz Court. Upon impact, the car burst into flames. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition. The police say that although there were people inside the home at the time of the accident, luckily nobody was injured – although the house did sustain substantial damage.
Orange County Family Displaced by Duplex Fire
Only three days before Christmas, a family in Orange County was forced from their home after a fire unexpectedly broke out and began to consume the building where they lived. Reports from the Orange County Fire Department say that it was shortly after 1:30 in the morning when firefighters were called to a duplex on Washington Street. When they arrived, they found that one of the units in the duplex was being rapidly consumed by an aggressive fire.
Fatal Private Plane Crash in Florida on Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve, a twin-engine Cessna 340 took off from Polk County Airport with the stated intention of flying to Key West for a quick lunch before returning later in the afternoon. Inside of the plane were the 70-year-old Shannon, the 24-year-old Shannon, the 26-year-old Worthington, the 27-year-old Worthington, Jr., and the 32-year-old Clayton.
