One Injured After Fire or Roof Collapse in Orange County
Staff at the Orlando Regional Medical Center were heavily involved in an incident that took place on Sunday, May 20th, that resulted in an individual arriving at the medical facility in critical condition. While many of the details around the scenario are unknown and currently under investigation, it does seem clear that one person was badly injured in Orange County after a confusing event.
Orange County Construction Worker Struck by Car
Early on the morning of Friday, May 25th, a 42-year-old construction worker at work on a routine project along State Road 417 in Orange County was badly injured after he was struck by a car passing through the construction zone. According to initial reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place at some point in the early morning rush hour, while many people were traveling along the roads on their way to work.
Plane Crash Kills One, Injures Another in Volusia County
Members of the Volusia County Fire Rescue responded this past Tuesday evening to reports of a plane crash in the city of Port Orange. Initial reports from the VCFR indicate that, as of the time of this writing, at least one person has died and another person was hospitalized with severe injuries after the incident, which happened when a small private plane failed to make it off of the Spruce Creek Airport runway.
Orange County House Fire Injures One
Orange County Fire Rescue personnel are currently investigating a house fire that is believed to be responsible for the hospitalization of at least one person inside of Orange County. Statements from this official organization indicate that they first received reports of the fire on Saturday, although it is not clear at what time the first calls to the OCFR reached the emergency response teams.
