Flagler County Crash Leaves Five Dead, Three Injured
Last weekend a Flagler County, Florida car crash left five dead and three injured. It all started when a 2008 Mazda Tribute was T-boned while attempting to make a left turn from Old Dixie Highway onto US Highway 1. According to a report filed by the Florida Highway Patrol, as the 58 old male driver from Miramar, Florida, made his left turn, his vehicle ventured into the path of an oncoming 2000 Ford F-250 traveling northbound on US 1. The truck slammed into the driver’s side of the Mazda, causing the car to barrel into a 2016 Toyota Camry stopped in the southbound turning lane of US 1.
Reckless Driving and Speeding Leaves One Dead in Highlands City
Police are responding to an automobile accident occurring today on US 98, not too far from Smith Lane (south of the intersection with 540A) in Highlands City, Florida. According to initial police reports, the three vehicle crash has left one dead after they were ejected from the vehicle. The accident comes as a surprise as driving conditions were good – the highway has six lanes, there’s a grass median and shoulders and the weather was clear.
A1A Car Accident Leaves 23 Year Old Dead
A 23 year old male from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida was killed last week during a car accident that happened on A1A. The driver was driving his 2006 Acura TSX north on the highway in Ponte Vedra when, according to reports, he lost control and failed to negotiate the curve near Gnarled Oaks Drive by the intersection with Mickler Road. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the car then left the road and overturned in a ditch. Emergency responders pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
Speeding Sends Car Crashing into Tree in St. Petersburg
A 55 year old Florida man died this week after his vehicle hit a palm tree. The accident happened on Snell Isle Boulevard Northeast in St. Petersburg, Florida. According to the police report, the driver was driving his 2014 Audi in excess of the 30 miles per hour posted speed limit. When he failed to negotiate a curve, his car veered off the road and hit the tree. Upon impact, the car rolled onto its side and burst into flames, killing the driver.
Fleeing suspect kills one, injures numerous others in Pensacola
A Pensacola, Florida woman who sustained injuries following an automobile accident involving a suspect fleeing from police has died. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 78 year old woman died in the hospital after being involved in a multi-car, multi-pedestrian accident that left nine others injured. The accident happened on Friday, with the victim dying Sunday evening.

A 47 year old Lakewood Ranch, Florida man has died following a three car accident that happened in Manatee County.
Careless Driver Causes $20,000 in Damages to Shalimar Private Property
An 18 year old Florida man received minor injuries following a weekend car accident that caused damage to property – including a fire that threatened the safety of nearby electrical power lines. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened early Saturday morning when the driver crashed his Toyota Camry into a roadside mailbox before running through a wooden fence and crashing into tree and flipping over. Once it came to a stop, the car then caught fire and threatened to damage the power lines that stretched across the private property where the crash happened.
Eight Year Old Child Critically Hurt in Car vs Bike Accident in Pasco
An eight year old child out riding his bicycle was critically injured over the weekend when he was hit by an SUV. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the crash happened around 3:35 p.m. at the intersection of Palm Avenue and Flagler Drive in Pasco, Florida. The 2005 Lincoln SUV was driven by a 41 year old native of Port Richey, Florida. The driver was heading north on Palm Avenue. As he approached the intersection with Flagler Drive and began to cross, the child rode into the path of the SUV and was hit.
Two Men Killed in Sumter County Car Accident
Two people were killed in a Sumter County, Florida automobile accident. According to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol, a 47 year old man from Lake Panasoffkee was driving a 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue south on County Road 474 just south of County Road 312 when his car crossed the centerline and hit a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. The Sonata was driven by a 36 year old male from Bushnell, Florida and the police report cites that he had not been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Orlando Man Killed in I-75 Car Accident
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 73 year old man was killed while driving his 2005 Chrysler southbound on Interstate 75 near Orlando, Florida. The accident happened near mile marker 441. The police report states that the driver attempted to change lanes from the outside lane to the center one when a vehicle in that lane honked their horn to let him know of their presence.
