SUV vs Motorcycle Crash Near Orlando Leaves One Dead
A 24-year-old male died following a head-on collision Saturday afternoon. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened on Oakridge Road and Texas Avenue in Orange County, Florida. Although the car accident remains under investigation, we do know that it involved a Chevy Suburban and a motorcycle. The Suburban, driven by a 26-year-old female, was traveling eastbound on Oakridge Road when she attempted to turn left onto Texas Avenue – putting her directly into the path of the oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle hit the right side of the Suburban. The motorcyclist was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries.

Construction Vehicle Causes Crash on Florida Turnpike
A construction vehicle left one person dead and two seriously injured Monday evening. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike, near mile marker 250. At approximately 9:45 p.m., a construction vehicle with a hydraulic lift bucket drove into the path of a Ford Edge. Upon impact, the Ford, which was being driven by a 62-year-old female, rotated and hit a nearby concrete barrier.
Port Orange Woman Dies in Early Morning House Fire
A Port Orange woman died this past Thursday after a fire broke out inside of her home and she was unable to escape from the flames. According to an official report from the fire officials within the Port Orange Fire Department, the first reports of the fire came into the station at around 12:30 in the morning. These reports indicated that the flames and smoke were beginning to become visible at 1000 4th Street, within the city of Port Orange.
