A thirty-three year old vehicle technician employed at Disney World was fatally injured earlier this week in a tragic industrial accident near one of the theme park’s resort hotels.
SUV vs Motorcycle Crash Near Orlando Leaves One Dead
A 24-year-old male died following a head-on collision Saturday afternoon. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened on Oakridge Road and Texas Avenue in Orange County, Florida. Although the car accident remains under investigation, we do know that it involved a Chevy Suburban and a motorcycle. The Suburban, driven by a 26-year-old female, was traveling eastbound on Oakridge Road when she attempted to turn left onto Texas Avenue – putting her directly into the path of the oncoming motorcycle. The motorcycle hit the right side of the Suburban. The motorcyclist was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries.
Florida Car Accident Kills One, Injures Others
A Daytona Beach car accident has left one person dead and another injured. The Accident happened on Monday at East International Boulevard and Beach street when, according to local police, a Ford Escape traveling at a speed of up to 90 mph hit an eastbound Buick. The driver of the Buick, a pregnant woman, was taken to a nearby hospital where she is said to be in stable condition. The passenger, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Orlando Man Killed after Friend Hits Him with Car in Parking Garage
An Orlando man was arrested last Wednesday after crashing his car into his friend in a downtown parking garage. The report from the Orlando Police Department describes the incident in its most complete detail. It seems that at some point early in the morning, just before 4:00, the 25-year-old William Aloupis and two friends took an elevator down to the Lincoln Plaza Parking Garage to retrieve a car. Surveillance videos of the scene depict the three men as being visibly intoxicated. One of the friends, Jonathan Anglada, was unable to stand on his own, and the other two left him slumped against one of the parking garage’s walls as they made their way to the car, which belonged to Anglada.
