Construction Vehicle Causes Crash on Florida Turnpike
A construction vehicle left one person dead and two seriously injured Monday evening. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike, near mile marker 250. At approximately 9:45 p.m., a construction vehicle with a hydraulic lift bucket drove into the path of a Ford Edge. Upon impact, the Ford, which was being driven by a 62-year-old female, rotated and hit a nearby concrete barrier.
Driver Falls Asleep, Causes Deadly Crash in Gaston Co
Florida Highway Patrol say that a driver who fell asleep behind the wheel was the cause of a deadly crash. The Gaston County crash happened early on 12 December near the intersection of Dallas Cherryville Highway and Mauney Road.
Doctors Will Not Face Wrongful Death Charges in Michael Jackson Case
Officials investigating circumstances surrounding Michael Jackson’s death have decided not to pursue charges against seven physicians who treated him before his death. There was a referral of the case of one doctor under investigation for prescribing medication to a Jackson alias to the California Medical Board. While there won’t be any filing of criminal charges against the doctors, their legal troubles may not be over. The Jackson estate can still pursue wrongful death claims against them for a variety of different circumstances that may have led to the entertainer’s death.
