Lake County Firefighter Receives DUI After Minor Crash
A firefighter with the Lake County Fire Rescue team is at the center of a DUI investigation within the city of Eustis. Reports from the Eustis Police Department stated that it was sometime close to 1:00 in the morning on Saturday, June 7th, when they began to receive reports of a minor collision involving a Ford Mustang. The calls reaching the police department indicated that the Mustang was stuck on a curb. The reports did not indicate what area of the city the curb was in nor along which road the Mustang was traveling before it became immobilized. What we do know is that the person behind the wheel of the mustang was employed as a firefighter within Lake County.
Child Inside Car During DUI Crash in Davenport
Deputies within Polk County are investigating a drunk driver accident that took place on the morning of Tuesday, the 12th of May. The incident took place sometime before 10:00 a.m. and involved a single vehicle. Behind the wheel of this vehicle was a 37-year-old individual. In the car with her was a 4-year-old child. At the time of this writing, the driver is facing DUI charges, among other things.

The reports did not offer much information around the precise reasons that the officer was pulled over, and they also failed to state the details around the property damage charge that was leveled at the officer along with the DUI.
DUI Charges after Car Crashes and Creates Sinkhole in Summerfield
Alcohol is believed to be the major contributing role to a drunk driver accident that occurred in Summerfield this past Friday, the 15th of March, and resulted in an individual almost being swallowed by a sinkhole. According to reports from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened sometime around 2:00 in the morning, close to the intersection of U.S. 441 and SE 156 Place within the town of Summerfield. The initial call to the emergency center was placed by a woman who had either witnessed the incident or stumbled upon it shortly after it took place. This woman was with her adult son, and the two of them became increasingly concerned about the well-being of the person driving the car.
Two Pedestrians Killed by Intoxicated Driver in Palm Bay
Manslaughter charges were issued against an individual from Palm Bay who is being accused of striking and killing two pedestrians on Saturday, March 2nd, while traveling along Palm Bay Road. According to reports from the Palm Bay Police as well as from the West Melbourne Police Department and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 12:30 in the morning, when a white 2006 Chevrolet Express van was traveling down Palm Bay Road Northeast.
