A 45-year-old driver was taken into custody over the weekend for his alleged involvement in a drunk driving accident that injured four people at an Orlando bar, according to preliminary reports from the Orlando Police Department.
Orlando Driver Arrested for DUI After Violent Car Crash on Hoffner Avenue
A man was arrested and charged with a DUI as well as property damage after crashing into a patrol car belonging to the Florida Highway Patrol while the officer in charge of the vehicle was assisting other FHP members in directing traffic after a fatal head on crash within Orange County. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol stated that the officers had driven to Hoffner Avenue shortly before 10:00 p.m. after reports of a violent drunk driver accident involving three vehicles.
Drunk Driver Crashes Through Crime Scene in Orlando
According to preliminary collision reports from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and other participating law enforcement agencies in Orlando, a 31-year-old drunk driver plowed his vehicle through the crime scene of a fatal two-car collision along Hoffner Avenue late Friday evening. Arresting officers have indicated that the Brevard County resident was nearly four times the legal intoxication limit at the time of his arrest following the accident.
