Orlando Motorcyclist Killed in Crash
Members of the Florida Highway Patrol have issued a statement regarding the death of a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist in question, a 17-year-old from Orlando, was killed on Thursday, March 7th, while she was traveling down the western lanes of Fairbanks Avenue.
Two Die in Orange County Crash Between Pickup Truck and Motorcycle
A collision that took place on Friday, February 22nd, between a pickup truck and a motorcycle is directly responsible for the death of two individuals and the serious injury of a third, says a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The truck vs. motorcycle accident took place around 7:30 in the evening, and involved only the two vehicles mentioned above, both of which were traveling towards the intersection of Jason Street and Oak Ridge Road, an intersection within Orange County.
Osceola County Deputy Receives Road Rash after Crashing Motorcycle
During the beginning of November, a motorcycle accident occurred within Osceola County that resulted in the injury of at least one person. According to reports from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the person in question was one of its own deputies. It seems that this deputy was riding on a motorcycle when the incident happened, although it is not clear if the deputy was also on duty or if the motorcycle was a vehicle owned by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Motorcyclist Dies after T-Boning Pickup in Volusia County
A motorcyclist driving through Volusia County collided with a truck on Friday, August 3rd, as they were driving down State Road 415. A report from the Florida Highway Patrol indicates that the incident happened shortly before noon, around 11:30 in the morning, and that the truck involved was a Ford F250.
Orlando Motorcyclist Dies in Wednesday Night Crash
Soon after 10:30 on Wednesday night, Orlando police were called to the intersection of East Landstreet Road and Boggy Creek Road south of State Road 528. What they found there was a mangled motorcycle that had crashed into a semi-truck. The accident, which occurred along East Landstreet’s 2400 block, close to Orlando’s International Airport, was particularly gruesome, and the driver of the motorcycle was unable to be identified along race or age boundaries.

Florida Motorcyclist Dies After Hit and Run Accident
Police in Hollywood, Florida, say they found the body of 30-year-old Jason Swanson in the street. The motorcycle was engulfed in flames at the middle of South 56th Avenue just north of Washington Street on March 31. Officers tried to render aid and put out the flames but were unable to. The flames were only extinguished when Hollywood Fire Rescue arrived. Swanson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Florida Motorcyclist Killed in Head-On Motorcycle Accident With Car
Florida Highway Patrol troopers investigating a fatal head-on collision between a motorcycle and a car say that the motorcyclist was talking on his cell phone when he lost control on a curve and struck the car. The accident occurred very early in the morning on Jan. 9, on Chase Road near Jack Nicklaus Parkway in Orange County. Troopers report that the victim, a 40-year-old Winter Garden man, was ejected from his Honda motorcycle by the collision and was pronounced dead from his injuries at the scene of the accident.
