Motorcycle accidents are common in Orlando. Over the past ten years, motorcycle accidents have increased by 50 percent, and fatalities have increased by almost 90 percent, according to Ride Smart Florida. From 2000 to 2008 there was a huge spike in motorcycle injuries and fatalities, which reduced in 2009 to 2010. However, since then, motorcycle accidents are on the rise again.
