The decision has the potential to reverse nearly 100 years of maritime law that gave cruise ship companies immunity against lawsuits for medical malpractice. Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines had asked the court to reconsider an earlier decision.

Orange County Crash Results in Serious Injury for Five Men

A crash near at the intersection of Edgewater Drive and Edgewater Shores Court in the Lockhart area sent five men to the hospital Thursday night. Police report that a Chevrolet SUV driven by Joseph Salustro, of Orlando, was travelling west on Edgewater Shores Court when he drove over railroad tracks and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle struck a van driven by 23-year-old Christopher Greaney, who was sitting at the stop sign at the intersection of Edgewater Drive and Edgewater Shores Court.
