Central Florida Man Saves Neighbor from Dog Attack
Lorenzo Smith was at home last Friday, when he says he heard his neighboring screaming. When he went to investigating he found his neighbor, 82-year-old Nigel Bailey trying to protect his two small dogs from a pit bull attack. Mr. Bailey was out walking his dogs when the pit bull ran up and attacked. Smith ran into his house and grabbed a shot gun, returned outside and fatally shot the dog.
Fort Lauderdale Driver Identified in Friday’s Crash
The driver of a Cadillac SUV involved in Friday crash into a dry cleaner’s store has been identified. The driver is listed as John Powell Jr., of Fort Lauderdale. Powell is 85 years old. It is unclear at this time if the incident is related to a medical condition Mr. Powell may have had. Powell was ticketed for failure to use due care while operating a vehicle.
Three Die in College Park Helicopter Crash
On March 22nd, 2015, three people were killed when the helicopter they were riding in, crashed in College Park, near Orlando, Florida. The three people were identified as Harry Anderson, 42, Bruce Teitelbaum, 48, and Marsha Khan, 55.
