Woman Crashes into South Florida House, Forgets It Ever Happened
In an incredibly unusual and unlikely turn of events, a woman in south Florida crashed her car into the side of a house and then completely forgot about the entire incident. According to authorities, the driver failed to negotiate the turn around a curve in Lauderdale Lakes on the morning of Thursday, November 19, 2015. She then crashed into a home and initially left the scene. Later, said Mike Jachles of Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, the young woman showed back up in only a bra and pants to ask whether anyone had seen her car. She was later arrested for leaving the scene of the crash.
Three People Seriously Injured in Tampa Highway Hit and Run
Troopers are looking for the driver in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured two people and left a third in critical condition. The crash happened Wednesday, October 21st at 10:47 a.m. on U.S. 19, north of State Road 54, near Tampa, Florida. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound on U.S. 19 (north of State Road 54) in the inside lane, when the driver attempted to change lanes. The Hyundai collided with a 1994 Chevy Blazer traveling in the center lane. The impact caused the Chevy to rotate, and then flip multiple times. The driver and two passengers in the Chevy were ejected from the vehicle onto U.S. 19.

A teenager from Altamonte Springs remains in critical condition after he was struck along with another skateboarder in a hit-and-run accident late Saturday night.
Police Search for Driver in Fatal Orange County Hit and Run
A 59-year-old Casselberry man was hit and killed as he crossed the street. The accident took place on September 9th along Semoran Boulevard near Driggs Drive in Orange County around 8:50 p.m. The driver did not stop after the accident and fled the scene.
Florida Hit-and-Run on U.S. 192
In late August, a hit-and-run accident killed a bicyclist near Orlando on U.S. 192. The Florida Highway Patrol said the bicyclist, Reyes Azamar, was hit by the driver of a four-door Mazda 2006. The driver then fled the scene on foot. Witnesses described the driver to police, who were still looking for him last week.
St. Augustine Beach Skateboarder Killed in Hit-and-Run
In mid-June, a young man was struck by a vehicle in St. Augustine Beach and killed. The accident was a hit-and-run. The victim, 23-year-old Casey McLendon, was on a skateboard when he was hit by a pickup truck that kept driving. According to witnesses, the crash sounded like a gun going off.
Elderly Man Involved in Leesburg Hit-and-Run Accident
Hit and run accidents are on the rise the Orlando area and across the state of Florida. A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman recently told local media that the agency receives reports of 25 to 30 hit-and-run accidents each day in Central Florida. The phenomenon has become such a problem that Florida Highway Patrol has assigned a deputy to investigate just hit-and-run accidents.
Florida Drunk Driver Causes Two Hit-and-Run Accidents
The first weekend in June, a Florida man was arrested for driving drunk and being involved in two hit-and-run accidents in Southampton. The driver was operating a car that only had three tires, and when police stopped him he resisted arrest. Luckily, no one was killed in his two hit-and-run accidents, but he did cause property damage and was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and multiple traffic infractions.
