It’s tough being a pedestrian, especially in crowded cities. Nationally, the number of pedestrians involved in hit and run accidents declined over the last decade, but the probability of a pedestrian dying has increased. Pedestrian accidents are most likely to occur in urban areas and deaths are most likely to happen between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Orlando Stolen Car Involved in Hit and Run Accident
On March 27th, a stolen car crashed into several businesses on Orlando’s East Colonial Drive. The vehicle split in half and a teenager fled from the scene. Police are still investigating the accident, and residents are lucky they weren’t in the line of the vehicle when it slammed into the sidewalk and ran into buildings.
