Florida ranks third in the nation, behind California and Texas, for having the most drunk driver accidents per year. Orlando drunk driving accident attorney James O. Cunningham sees firsthand the damage that drunk drivers inflict on innocent people. While helping people is central to his law practice, he and other Central Florida lawyers are far busier than they would like to be with these types of cases. Drunk drivers know that what they are doing is illegal, morally wrong, and that it needlessly puts innocent drivers at risk. Yet, they continue to engage in this negligent behavior. When a drunk driver kills another person, the victim’s family must contend with the following:
- Funeral expenses
- Loss of companionship and support
- Loss of income
- Medical bills
- The anguish of knowing that the death was completely preventable
- Many other types of emotional and financial hardship
In addition, people injured in drunk driving accidents must endure hardships such as lost wages, catastrophic medical bills, diminished function and quality of life, disabilities and many other physical, emotional and financial injuries. Aggressive, experienced, Florida drunk driving accident attorney James O. Cunningham has been helping victims and their families receive fair and just compensation. He gives each client and his or her case the individual attention they deserve and uses his decades of experience to build effective cases.
