Unknown Woman Steals Pizza Delivery Car, Crashes into Home
At this present moment, the authorities in Florida are still looking for a woman who is being accused of stealing a pizza delivery car from its driver on Wednesday Evening before subsequently crashing this car into a private home. According to a report issued by the Florida Highway Patrol’s Sgt. Kim Montes, the pizza delivery man had left his car for a few moments in order to deliver a pizza when the unknown and unnamed woman climbed into the car and drove off. The theft happened around 7:30pm, and the woman drove the car down Winder Trail, crossed over three separate yards, and ultimately crashed the vehicle into a home. During the time of the accident, the home was empty.
After she crashed into the house, located in an unnamed neighborhood near North Dean Road and the 417, Sgt. Montes says that the woman abandoned the car and took off on foot. Police are still searching for leads and any information that might help them to identify and apprehend the woman in question.
Fortunately, even though the act itself was violent, there have been no reports that any individuals have been injured in any way due to the theft of the car and the following collision with the home. The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the various scenes involved as well as question any and all witnesses. Further information will be supplied as the Florida Highway Patrol acquires it, although certain details such as the make and model of the stolen car as well as the identity of the pizza delivery driver have not as of yet been released. Furthermore, it is not known just how the police have identified the perpetrator as a woman to begin with.
In circumstances such as the one described above, it is never certain just what occurred. There is no knowledge as to why the woman decided to steal the car, no indication that she was on the run from anyone, and no information regarding where she fled to after crashing into the home. Although it is not believed that she continues to pose a danger to individuals living in Orange County, it is always a good idea to lock your cars.
