Three Injured in Single Car Crash in Orange County

By Orlando Personal Injury Attorney on June 16, 2019

Police within Orange County were on hand to respond to reports of a single car accident that took place along Pine Hills Road, close to where this road intersects with Balboa Drive. The crash happened on Monday, June 10th, sometime early in the morning. The reports from News 6 did not specify at what time during the morning the accident is believed to have taken place, but it is likely that it was prior to 7:30am.

At that time, a car carrying at least three people was traveling down Pine Hills Road. It is not clear which direction the car was headed down Pine Hills, but the report did indicate that the crash occurred as the car was either just drawing near to or just heading away from the intersection of Pine Hills and Balboa.

The names of the people within the vehicle were not immediately released to the public, and at the time of this writing all that is known is that the collision resulted in the injury of three individuals. The reasons behind the crash itself are similarly murky. The reports indicated that the driver lost control of the vehicle, although there was no information immediately available on just what happened to cause the driver to lose control.

Loss of control while driving can be due to any number of factors. Included in this list are things such as unexpected roadway obstacles (such as wildlife or potholes), cell phones, driving at excessive speed, alcohol/intoxication, and, of course, other drivers. The incident that took place along Pine Hills Road has yet to be linked to any of these specific reasons, although it is likely that at least one of them can explain the crash.

After the collision with the tree, emergency response teams (including paramedics and EMTs) pulled three people from the car and transported them to a nearby hospital. At the time of this writing there is no further information regarding the conditions of those who were taken to the hospital. It is also not known if any other individuals were inside of the vehicle when the crash occurred.
