Passenger Killed When Truck Veers Off Interstate 95
An 81-year-old female and her small dog were killed in an automobile accident near Orlando, Florida on Monday. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened in Volusia County on Interstate 95. A 2008 Chevy pickup truck, driven by a 77-year-old male, was traveling north near Oak Hill when it suddenly veered off the road and struck a nearby tree.
Leesburg Woman Struck, Killed by Delivery Truck
A collision between a delivery truck and an elderly Leesburg woman resulted in the death of the woman a week ago on Thursday. According to the official report filed by the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place just before 9:00 in the morning near to the Lake County intersection of Crooked Oaks Lane and Timber Crest Drive.
Swerving Driver Kills Two, Injures Others in Bunnell
A three-vehicle crash on State Road 100 just west of Bunnell left two dead and four others injured. According to a witness, the accident was put into motion as a female driving a Hyundai Accent proceeded west on ST 100. Meanwhile, a 2000 Chevy S-10 pickup truck, also traveling west and carrying two passengers, was stopped at the intersection of SR 100 and CR 35 waiting to make a left turn onto CR 35. Another pick-up truck, a Silverado with one passenger, was heading east from the other direction.
Speeding Car Kills Two in Orlando
Two Orlando area men, both in their 20s, died earlier this week when their vehicles collided in the Parramore neighborhood. According to the Orlando Police Department, the crash happened at 2:15 am at the intersection of West Church Street and South Orange Blossom Trail. One car, which was seen speeding west on West Church, failed to stop at a red light. Upon entering the intersection, it collided with a car traveling south on South Orange Blossom Trail. The driver and a passenger in the car traveling south on South Orange Blossom were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the car speeding on West Church were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Orange County Crash Leaves Pedestrian Dead
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a pedestrian was killed after being hit by two vehicles in Orange County. The incident happened on Tuesday evening at North Pine Hills Road and White Heron Drive. A Volkswagen heading north on North Pine Hills Road and driven by a 25 year old female hit the pedestrian, who has only been identified as being a male. This impact threw the victim into the southbound lanes, where he was run over by a Chrysler driven by a 34 year old male. No further information was released as an investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
DeLand Woman Severely Burned in August Car Fire Dies
In August, a horrifying incident occurred in DeLand that resulted in a 39-year-old woman suffering life-threatening burns along her arms and face. This past Sunday, it was reported that the woman, a DeLand resident named Tracy Adams, died as a result of the injuries she sustained.
1-Year-Old Child Drowns in Orange County Pool
Late on Thursday afternoon, just before 4:30, emergency first responders throughout Orange County rushed to Delcrest Drive’s 2900 block (close to both North Econlockhatchee Trail and State Road 417) after a call came in that indicated a young child had been discovered unresponsive in a pool. According to the report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the child, a nearly 1-year-old boy, was discovered in the pool by members of his family.

The Leesburg Police Department are currently investigating a disturbing and as-of-yet unexplained death that occurred at a daycare center in Lake County this past Friday. According to the official report on this ongoing investigation, police were called by the child’s mother, an unnamed 26-year-old woman, after she arrived at the daycare to collect her two children and bring them home.
Polk County Fire Kills 78-Year-Old Man and Three Dogs
Reports emerging from the Lakeland Fire Department and the Polk County Fire Rescue are shedding light on a deadly house fire that occurred in Lakeland earlier this week. According to an official statement from Polk County Fire Rescue spokesperson Kevin Walter, firefighters within the county received a call close to 1:30 on Wednesday morning that directed them to the Lakeland address 7445 Green Road. When they arrived, fire rescue personnel discovered a large single-story home on fire as well as individuals still trapped within the burning structure.

According to the police report, Brownsville Police responded to a three vehicle accident along the stretch of frontage road that runs in front of a strip mall and various chain restaurants. When they arrived, they found a man and woman pinned between a red car and white SUV.
