Three Injured in an Orange County Collision Involving Tanker Truck
Three people, including a toddler, were injured on Friday, January 4th, after the car in which they were traveling drove underneath a large semi-truck hauling a tank. Reports from the Orange County Fire Rescue indicate that the incident took place at close to 6:20 in the evening and that the vehicles involved were traveling along either East Colonial Drive and or Gloucester Street. It is not known if the accident happened at the intersection of these two streets or if the collision happened along one street with the other being affected due to the proximity of the accident to the intersection.
Tractor-Trailer Collision in Brevard County Results in Massive Fire
Members of both the Brevard County Fire Rescue and the Palm Bay Fire Rescue teams were on hand to try and battle a massive fire that erupted along I-95 after two tractor-trailers collided with one another close to the Malabar Road exit. According to the official report from Brevard County Fire Rescue, the incident happened sometime before 5:15 in the afternoon, although the precise reasons behind why the two trucks collided are not known.
One Dead after Car Collides with Semi in Lake County
A Lake County crash that happened on Tuesday, August 21st, continues to remain under investigation as detectives and officers working with the Florida Highway Patrol attempt to uncover just what happened to cause two cars and a tractor-trailer to collide. The damage that resulted from the trucking accident included at least one fatality.
Truck Driver Suffers Medical Episode, Crashes into Orlando Retention Pond
During rush hour on Friday, March 30th, a 56-year-old individual driving a large truck down Interstate 4 in Orlando suffered what is being referred to as a medical episode. While the precise nature of this episode is not clear, we do know that the man was rendered unconscious and therefore unable to continue piloting his vehicle. The truck and the driver then departed from the roadway, down the shoulder, and into a retention pond. The report from the Florida Highway Patrol indicated that all of this happened close to 7:40 in the morning, around the 100 mile marker of I-4.
Brevard County Deputy Killed in Semi-Truck Accident
A sheriff’s deputy was killed over the weekend when his police cruiser was crashed into by a semi-truck that had suffered a serious tire blowout, causing it to swerve into the adjacent lane and into the officer’s vehicle.
SUV and Tractor-Trailer Collide in Orlando
A week ago on Monday morning, shortly before sunrise, officers with the Orlando Police Department responded to an emergency call directing them to Oak Ridge Road. The call indicated that a collision had taken place at a location along Oak Ridge Road somewhere between the points where this street intersects with John Young Parkway and Millenia Boulevard. When the police, fire rescue, and other emergency first responders arrived they found themselves dealing with two burning vehicles as well as one individual who was trapped and injured inside a badly mangled vehicle.

Just before noon on Thursday, November 30th, an out-of-town semi-truck driver was involved in a fatal big-rig collision with a SunRail passenger train in Seminole County, Florida.
Tractor Trailer Crushes Car in Orlando Crash
Early on Tuesday morning, members of the Orlando Fire Department joined with the Florida Highway Patrol as well paramedics and first responders throughout the area to respond to reports of an overturned tractor trailer on I-4, close to where it crosses State Road 408. This mobilization of emergency personnel was the result of a 9-1-1 call from a witness to the accident which was placed close to 6:00 in the morning. According to the official report, the caller told dispatchers that a tractor trailer had fallen onto its side on I-4. What made the case somewhat extraordinary was that the truck had, according to the caller, tipped over onto a car. The caller told the dispatcher that it seemed as though someone was still inside the vehicle, trapped, but still able to communicate.
Rocker Killed in Florida Tractor-Trailer Accident
The bassist for the New York-based metal band Adrenaline Mob died last week following a three-car Florida accident. According to Florida Police, the 38-year-old David Zablidowsky was killed when a tractor-trailer swerved off the highway and into the two vehicles carrying members of the band. The band was pulled over on the side of the road fixing a flat tire when the accident, which left seven others injured, occurred.
Two Semis, One Car Involved in St. Johns County Crash
Tuesday evening, close to the World Golf Village in St. Johns County, Florida, several vehicles were involved in an accident that caused the far right lanes of I-95 to be closed for over two hours. According to the Florida Highway Report, the accident took place around 7:00 in the evening on I-95, at the International Golf Parkway. Although the precise incidents that led to the accident are not yet known, it has been publicly announced that when the emergency response vehicles arrived they discovered two semi trucks and a third car all suffering from various damages.
