Officers with the Sanford Police Department are still looking for the driver of a vehicle believed to have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident at the end of October that claimed the life of a 37-year-old pedestrian.
Sanford Police Search for Mini Cooper Involved in Hit-and-Run
Officers with the Sanford Police Department are looking for both a car and a driver after a hit-and-run accident that took place within the city on Thursday, December 3rd. While the accident happened early in December, it was not until the following Monday, December 7th, that the Sanford Police Department issued a statement indicating that they are still searching for the individual responsible. It is the hope of the SPD that by issuing a public statement, people might come forward with vital information concerning the location and identity of the person and the car involved.
