Sanford Police Search for Mini Cooper Involved in Hit-and-Run

Officers with the Sanford Police Department are looking for both a car and a driver after a hit-and-run accident that took place within the city on Thursday, December 3^rd. While the accident happened early in December, it was not until the following Monday, December 7^th, that the Sanford Police Department issued a statement indicating that they are still searching for the individual responsible. It is the hope of the SPD that by issuing a public statement, people might come forward with vital information concerning the location and identity of the person and the car involved.
