Orange County Animal Service Worker Dies in Collision
Joseph Campo, a 31-year-old resident of Orange County, died on Tuesday after being involved in a head-on collision along John Young Parkway. Campo, an employee of the Orange County Animal Services, was on his way to work, driving a 1989 Ford Mustang, when the incident occurred. Details from the Florida Highway Patrol indicate that the crash happened around 2:30 in the afternoon and involved, as well as Campo, a 20-year-old named Lilliana Rojas.

An accident in Orlando on Sunday afternoon has resulted in at least one death and numerous injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The report on the incident indicates that the crash occurred close to 1:30 in the afternoon as drivers were attempting to travel through the intersection of Apopka-Vineland Road and Balboa Drive. A 23 year old female who was severely injured in a fire-filled two vehicle crash in the Orlando area last week has died. The death follows that of a 28 year old Melbourne, Florida male who died at the scene. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the female died at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was being treated since the incident last week.
Wrong Way Crash Leaves One Dead Near Orlando
A 23 year old woman from Sumter County, Florida, was killed over the long Fourth of July weekend following a wrong way accident near Orlando, Florida. The victim was behind the wheel of a 2013 Kia Optima driving on State Road 50 at 1:00 am when she was hit head on by a 2011 Dodge Charger. The Dodge Charger was driven by a male from Brooksville, who, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), was driving the wrong way on SR 50. It is unknown why he was traveling in the wrong lane at the time of the accident.
Head-On Crash in Volusia County Leaves Teenager Dead
Early on Wednesday morning, a head-on collision occurred in Volusia County that left one teenager dead and two other individuals badly injured. According to the report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred shortly after 1:00 in the morning of July 5th, close to where State Road 415 crosses Colony Road. The particular stretch also lies at a point in between Deltona and New Smyrna Beach.
