The information compiled so far is scant, although it does paint a redeeming portrait of humanity in the guise of the unnamed civilians who saved the woman’s life.

Waterford Crash Sends Car into Pond

Florida State Troopers and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a crash early on Tuesday morning that occurred along Alafaya Trail, just before the Waterford Lakes shopping center. A statement issued by the Florida Highway Patrol indicates that the crash, which is believed to have happened near to 2:20am, involved a 2014 four-door Kia sedan traveling northwards on Alafaya Trail and a 1999 four-door Mazda which, at the time of the incident, was idling at a red light.
