Fatal Brevard County Car Crash on I-95 Likely Result of Speeding

A Kia carrying three people was involved in a fatal auto accident with a van on Monday, February 1^st, within Brevard County. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol indicate that the incident took place during the mid-morning, sometime around 9:00, and that it involved vehicles that were traveling along the northbound lanes of Interstate 95, close to mile marker 117 and to where Palm Bay Road intersects with the major interstate. While the fatal incident remains under investigation, at the time of this writing we do have numerous reports from first responders to paint a fairly comprehensive picture of the events that led to the accident in question.
